US has highest number of gun deaths of ANY developed nation.

US has most liberal gun ownership laws of ANY developed nation.

You do the math - it isn't that hard to see the correlation.

Don't try to confuse morons with facts. Every time there is a tragedy they try to use it to case blame on law abiding citizens. They have no shame!

More People Die from Falls in NYC Than Firearm-Related Murders
According to a UPI report, "300 [people] die as result of a fall" every year in New York City. Meanwhile, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) reports 239 firearm-related murders.
That's probably because New York City has pretty much repealed the 4th amendment with their "stop and frisk anyone we please for no apparent reason"laws. Besides, cops just don't go in to the really bad neighborhoods.

You hit the nail right on the head there. What the hell is with trying to control law abiding citizens when they are not the problem?

When was the last time you read about a sweep of a crime ridden inner city neighborhood to take the illegal guns from the gang bangers?

Yet, the first words out of an dedicated Liberal's mouth when a criminal shoots someone are that we need to control guns that the law abiding citizens have for personal protection. They are looking to limit your freedom to protect yourself and your family.

They don't think of it in terms of limiting freedom or re-writing the Constitution. They only think in terms of how to create a utopia. Some place where butterfiles and unicorns dance freely with little children. Their simplistic answer is to think they can simply make all of the guns disappear from Earth and that will solve all of the problems with violence. They are, deluded, at best.

You can't fix that which is not broken. Let evolution happen. Because it's going to whether you like it or not.

Why is it NRA members , and any one else who owns guns only care about their guns and not kids being killed by semi automatics. Do they always have to put themselves first? Bunch of self centered spoiled brats . Worry about them selves first. Think of others first you'll feel better about your selves all these hunters and sportsmen killing deer , ducks , pheasants, etc. join the armed forces and hunt man you chicken shits.
Let's take a real world situation, OK? There were 2,571 people shot in the City of Chicago from Jan 1, 2013 through Dec 25, 2013.

If 2% of those were shot by NRA members, I will donate $1,000 to any gun control organization you designate.

However, we both know that 99.9% or more of those shot in Chicago were not done by NRA members. So get off that stupid bandwagon and try doing something that will help keep people safe for once - instead of being such a stupid jackass with your continuous diatribes against law abiding gun owners.

Do you support a massive police sweep through the streets of Chicago to take the illegal guns out of the hands of all the gang bangers?

Do you support police breaking into private homes to take illegal guns away from the gang bangers?

Do you support police being able to stop and search any person in a known high crime area to find illegal guns and take them off the streets?

Before there were guns, people were being killed, some by spears or daggers or clubs or whatever came to hand. I don't recall reading about any concerted movement to eliminate those killing weapons, only a swift retaliation by another tribe or family upon the killer. Now the tribes have armed themselves with guns, and the non armed families are dependent on the police for retribution, which often doesn't come, due to shyster lawyers and liberal judges. Why would not potential victims arm themselves for protection from the killer thugs in our midst?

The "tribes" are located in liberal cities ,such as Chicago, Minneapolis and the like. The effect of laws in protecting anyone are a thing of humor, which provide such things as sex change surgery for violent offenders at public expense, a college education to improve swindleing techniques and body building to enable car jacking and other more muscular activities.Lets get back to a life for a life and an eye for an eye.

We could take a lesson from Switzerland. In that country, firearm training and ownership is mandatory for adult males ages 20 and older.
.
Plus it is required by law that those males keep not only their firearms in perfect working order. They are required to also keep a minimum of 24 rounds of ammo at all times in their homes.
.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/1566715.stm Guns are deeply rooted within Swiss culture - but the gun crime rate is so low that statistics are not even kept.
.
http://world.time.com/2012/12/20/the-swiss-di... Yet, despite the prevalence of guns, the violent-crime rate is low: government figures show about 0.5 gun homicides per 100,000 inhabitants in 2010.

You said it man. The 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th amendments have been getting beaten to a pulp by the last 4 or 5 administrations. This one is no exception. And they seem to be getting bolder in their violations of civil and constitutional rights too. As if to say, we can and will do whatever we want to.

As well as there are unfortunately groups who want to have the 19th Amendment repealed as well.

Mel Brooks is indeed, a comic genius, the likes of which we may never see again due in part to political correctness run amok.
