A Hennepin County judge has ruled that part of a lawsuit filed by the family of a Minneapolis office shooting victim can go forward against Accent Signage Systems, but all claims against the gunman's estate have been dismissed.

In reading the article, you have to stop and say WTF?
The charges against the gunman's estate are dismissed? Why?
Too bad the article did not delve into the reasons for those charges not moving forward.
Also, the lesson the Court is teaching all companies is to never hire anyone with mental challenges. The risk is simply too great to take.
That is a very sad statement. However, if you are going to be held accountable for the actions of an unbalanced employee, you are better off never hring anyone who can not be termed as "normal".

Always amusing, to watch you dismiss all managerial responsibility, except to be overpaid....
Even better, this was the worst case of workplace violence EVER in Mn, so of course.... we need to base all future NORMAL company actions on it....
