These maps show the locations of actively burning fires around the world, detected by instruments aboard NASA satellites. Look at Africa burning..

You probably watched monthly amounts of fires.
I too, but checked daily fires, it's much less blazing

Yes, it was monthly as you would read at the link page. Those fires in Africa are not being reported and they are the most prominent.

I wonder if AFP in French reports them.

NASA for 2/25/2014: An intense cluster of red hotspots can be seen in southern Guinea, on the borders of Sierra Leone and Liberia. Heavy activity is also seen in southern Senegal and Guinea-Bissau. The red hotspots mark where the thermal sensors on the MODIS instrument detected temperatures that were higher than background. When accompanied by characteristic smoke plumes, they are diagnostic for actively burning fires.

Had nice downtown family afternoon with 71 F, that's 14 F-units over 09/3 average.
The whole city population was outside enjoying it. Media say it's record high since 1946. Forecasts are that this weather will last all next week. Glorious smart weather over London as well.
To go along with your weather report, is the millions of square kilometers around the North Pole for nearly five months have average temperatures, as much as 16degC(29degF) above normal.

Five months...... happens often....... AGW enhanced warm fronts push hard into the NP. AGW enhanced warm fronts push lots of Arctic cold down onto southern latitudes.

Yeah, AGW enhanced warm fronts cause really warm temperatures. AGW enhanced warm fronts push cold & cause really cold temperatures......... too.

Sure thing rich boy. Tell your Global Warming tales to a coal miner from Kentucky that is out of work because the coal burning power plant was shut down due to this Global Warming BS.
Would that coal miner want his job back if he knew it was going to ruin the planet for his grandchildren?

Sorry for coal miners.
Except for steel industry, who wants coal when fuel-oil or gaz are available ?
Did you ever had to manage a home coal heather ?
You must have room for winter reserves, have to empty it each a morning off ashes and scorias, then reload before shampoo and shower because dust is electrostatic attracted by hair and whool, and if somebody stays at home, he must reload it twice or thrice a day, be surrounded with coal dust you lift as soon as you manipulate coal.

A lot of industries rely on coal. There are a lot of industries that are not "steel" but use coal to melt scrap steel for what they do make, like cast iron parts that are used on vehicles, especially large trucks like those that Caterpillar uses on repairs and construction of our infrastructure. Those trucks are used for all kinds of business' and do all kinds of jobs. Coal effects and is depended on by much more than just the steel industry but even if it only effected the steel industry.....the steel industry effects ALOT of business' by providing all sorts of parts, transportation, all kinds of services are effected by that as well.

When the coal industry loses so do ALOT of companies and business'. You have to be completely oblivious to reality to think that shutting down coal companies will not really effect much. The fact is there is NO reliable source of energy that can do what coal does and has done for this country that has been found in the "green movement" or "clean energy" movement. By destroying coal companies we are actually destroying business' all over the country and you have to be a moron to not see the chain reaction that will and is occurring due to Obama and his administration's desire to destroy the coal industry altogether. But then they have certainly proven to be moron's on a lot more issues than just coal so we shouldn't be too surprised. I know a majority of America aren't surprised by most of the stupid things they do anymore.

No doubts coal industry will remain with steel industry and carbochemistry.
Thermal electricity will use gaz or nuke steam, using coal produces to many pollutants, main being sulfiric acid,

You are an unrealistic, naive fool.
If you feel that way you better never use AC, drive a car, turn on the lights or use electricity in any form. Perhaps you should move into a cave and start an organic garden, find a water supply and live off the land so you can do your part to "save the planet" from being ruined.
How is the planet ruined? You claimed earlier you were an engineering student. Answer my question. Also, cite the science supporting your rant.

Here's one way: The United States Geological Survey issued a press release yesterday indicating that the magnitude 5.7 earthquake that struck Prague, Oklahoma in 2011 was unintentionally human-induced.

Coal dust and ashes lower albedo of the glaciers and helps melting
