Imagine if NASA hadn't declassified those pictures of Earth from space, where our planet looks like a fragile bubble and the atmosphere looks like a thin veil. Those photos really messed with people's heads!

Of course it's warming up, that's what happens to the planet like the seasons in a year only on a larger scale.

You really know how insane the leftist's followers are when they believe politicians telling them that they can stop planetary warming and that making rich people pay more money in taxes will do it. If "warming" were really happening and the devastation predicted is accurate people should feel reassured that there is NOT ONE THING being implemented to address it realistically or practically.....nor will there be. Notice how definite government is yet they ignore the possibility that it's not man-made? Whenever they speak of it it is in an attack mode. Naming the enemy and discussing how they will fight that enemy - consumers (people with money) and rich fat cat oil guys (people with LOTS of money). Funny how there is no discussion of how to prepare for this inevitable destruction. No talk of preparations for the coastlines or serious government "investment" in how the population will live under such circumstances. Why is this? How "scientific" is it to ignore such a glaring and likely possibility that it is not "man-made"? Strange too how leftists like to crawl all over the message boards mocking "preppers" and calling people "paranoid" for learning survival skills or even for carrying a firearm - cause the world is now so stable and peaceful - not like "back then" but boy when the start talking about "climate change" WATCH OUT! But then they too mostly start attacking some "enemy" that can be defeated if they can just get them to pay more in taxes or if we could just change our economy to one that looks more like the eastern Europe of recent times. Notice how the leftists desire a rationed society as if we are in a war? It's all very curious.

Much like the global warming in Dallas today. So it must have been global warming bringing in a layer of snow today. And the record cold South of Dallas turned out to be a false alarm. Must have been that global cooling thing.

Patriot AKA Bozo wrote: <quoted text> I know that you can't tell me.... Sure can. This summer when it reached 105 it was global warming. Today with 40 it's global cooling. Now that would depend on size of the area you live in and how fast or slow the weather, climate is changing.

I agree with The energizer bunny. This is all hyped up money making scheme. It's going to get warmer, yes, but we are not going destroy the planet. We are disgustingly messing it up with garbage and taking it for granted. Perhaps this fear that's taking people agrip will make them change their ways. If there is a better way to live with nature then we should. We only have one planet.

Good comments. I offer another evidence from 12 millennia ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch... These stone builders were possibly victimized by climate changes. They knew more than any other groups of people for millennia after millennia. They were also peace lovers.

Patriot AKA Bozo wrote: <quoted text> Climate is not short term. That is weather. Nine of the warmest years have occurred during the last decade. Some try to say the warming has stopped. If that were true, the global temperatures would revert to the long termed average. You first stated that climate is not short term then prove that you are only looking short term when you refer to nine of the last ten years. Short term in climate is measured in decades and not years and when you look at the last nine or ten centuries the proof is that yes the earth is and had been warming. The fact that your looking at the average of ten years instead of the trend of the last ten decades shows that you looking more at weather and calling it climate.

Actually it does add up to a college degree and a high school diploma. And yes they teach various disciplines and each is considered an expert and highly knowledgeable in that discipline.

Patriot AKA Bozo wrote: <quoted text> And what is the trend for the last ten decades? Cycles of warming and cooling with an overall warming trend. Of course that same general trend has been in progress for the last ten centuries. Like I said you are thinking short term when it comes to climate change.
