A lot like Obama, his staff write down what to say and they just repeat it by reading it off a teleprompter or notes. Is sad all they are is a mouthpiece.

Minnesota Chamber of Commerce backs Johnson over Dayton

Minnesota's Chamber of Commerce on Friday backed Republican Jeff Johnson over Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton as the business community weighs how big a role to play in the governor's race.

The decision came after both Johnson and Dayton went before a chamber political committee. Four years ago, Dayton didn't even try for their support.

It remains unclear how active the chamber and other prominent business groups will be in the governor's race. There are some signs that the business's top focus could be winning GOP control of the Minnesota House instead, given the challenge of toppling a statewide incumbent.

Dayton OKd the stadium and the new, un-needed senate building, then said he always thought they were too expensive, after the fact. He really is screwing up the medical marijuana deal also.$20,000, non refundable application fee and only two growers for the entire state. He should replace the mind-altering drugs he's on with pot!

Dayton keeps his inherited money in North Dakota to avoid paying Minnesota's ridiculously high taxes, yet a new add on TV criticizes Jeff Johnson for working for a company that has an off shore bank account. Nothing like the liberal hypocrisy! Vote them out!

I laugh each time the Democrats whine about money polluting the results of elections.

Dayton is the poster child for elections being bought. His ex-wife is a Rockefeller and bought the 2010 election with millions of dollars she spent. She is going to spend even more this time to keep her drugged up little puppet in office.

Good one Dems. Nothing like a good Democrat hypocrite to make thinking people laugh.

How quickly they dismiss the fact that most of Congress, including the dem senate, is made up of 1%'rs. But it's ok. They feel your pain. You are their brothers and sisters. They are always looking out for the "little guy".

Pelosi alone is worth $24 million by this source, up to $100 million from others.
John Kerry....$198 million
Darrell Issa...$140 million
Jay Rockefeller...$83 million
Mark Warner....$85 million

Dayton passed the DFL test for stupidity. The only time he ever scored higher than "F" on a test. He said that it as the first time that he was proud that he belonged to the Minnesta voting public

Did you see the article in the STrib that the DFL is going to spend over $1 million on TV ads for Dayton's upcoming election? I am betting dollars to donuts that Dayton never speaks one word in any of those ads. Why? If he did, no one would ever vote for him. The dry drunk who pops uppers like candy is incoherent at best.

He is a perfect Governor for Liberals to vote for. His IS a wasted piece of biomass anyone can quickly determine is an idiot. He can't think so he reads or mumbles to make it seem like he is saying something.

It would be Soooo refreshing to have normal person for Governor.

Only Minnesota Libertards would elect such a person as Governor. However those same Libertards still live here so Macy might get reelected.

Sadly, a majority of voters who aren't hard-core left or right get all their information from the pre-election TV ads. I would like to see some hard hitting ads from the republicans, countering the lies told by the Democrats. Johnson needs to tell why cutting $500 from the school budget is a good thing, and where the cazillionair, Dayton hides his money from the tax man.

Was it and actual cut or just a denial of additional funding for the following year? Because usually if they got say,$1.5 billion in a given year, and they want $2.0 billion the following year and don't get the $500 million increase, they claim that their funding was cut by that amount.

Exactly, that's why they need to address these inaccurate ads by the Democrats. I'm sure they will in the debates, but a lot of voters don't even bother to watch them.

Libertards could get ALL of everyones income and still wouldn't be happy. There is never enough for them to waste on incompetent public schools. Notice the public schools performance continues to decline even thou they get more and more $$ to waste. The school systems are very greedy and never satisfied, except for their poor performance, they are quite pleased with poor performance.

Minnesota's tax collections have again come in short of expectations.

$46 million LESS than projections from July through September.

Dayton wants a new gas tax for roads because the money they should have used for the roads went to light rail.
