I can't help notice all the coverage of two police officers shot in the leg by a now dead car thief. But, the police chief didn't even mention the dead cyclist in her news conference.
Seems an after-the-fact police van speeding the wrong way down Blaisdell hit a motorcycle with 2 people on it. The driver was killed and the passenger injured. All over a stolen car. And, after the perp was already dead. How will they spin this one?

Was the Feral Youth from The Demokrat Plantation a Car Thief?

I did not see that in the story.

I will assume he was.

So, Being a Car Thief is now a Death Sentence eh?

How was Public Safety enhanced?

Driving 3000 Lb Projectiles at Highway Speeds, in a Neighborhood, running through Public Safety Devices that have a Red Light for STOP, and KILLING and MAIMING the Public whose Safety is the only reason for Police in the 1st Place?

Minneapolis, Get your Bad Azz Cowboys in their Big Boy Cars under control!

Stop Chasing someone "suspected" of a crime. Suspicion is not a Death Warrant!

Also, "The Folks" need to do something about the Feral Youth on those Demokrat Voter Plantations!

The car thief got killed for shooting at the cops, and he broke into a home. He deserved to die. But the cop car that killed the cyclist was coming to the scene after the fact, speeding the wrong way down a one way street.

COPs ALWAYS get their man, or woman.

COPs are hire from the human race.

This was NO ACCIDENT!!

The COPs could have called off the chase when it ended up on a very busy road. They knowingly persued the car thief on busy streets in mid day hours.

Stupid COP no dognut.

RIP biker and best recovery for the injured passenger.

Remember "Start Seeing Motorcycles", applies also to COPs.

"WE" now that's funny! The only 'we' you have are your multiple troll-names and your self judge-its.
And, the only unfortunate accident around here is you. No one likes you, if you had any self-respect you would go away.

Well we ain't agreeing on this one.

Chasing a rabbit will make the rabbit Run.

The Feral Youth from the Demokrat Plantation was "Reacting" just as any creature does when chased then cornered.

My Point is.......Stop chasing for about 99% of the time!

Very few people that are chased by Cops, would run, if not for fight or flight triggered by a threat.

Law Enforcers had better be 100% certain that the person who they are chasing, and risking the Innocent Public's Lives to chase, is a Bad Guy worthy of the risk to the innocents.

In this case the 2 peopled Maimed and Killed by the Minneapolis Police Policy are more valuable than the capture of the Feral Youth.

I completely agree about the chases. I posted on another thread that risking lives, and in this case actually taking one, over a stolen PT Cruiser, is deplorable. But, what kind of idiot shoots at police for an offense that probably wouldn't even result in prison time?

Especially when if caught the feral youth would have been slapped on the hand and told to not do that again.

And the rest of the story would have been the feral youth would have done it again. Perhaps the next time the feral youth had done it perhaps he would have killed 10 people, IF there is an up side.

The other up side is that Capital Punisment exists today, it's metered out by COPs that are good shots, using one of those evil guns.

If one thinks about the current situation it would be funny if not so sad. But hey GLBT can get married, what a wonderful week.

Phock I gotta hurl..

Tell it to the woman who was severely burned in a COP chase wreck in St Paul. The guy was running from Roseville COPs. The woman was NOT wearing a helmet but in a car.

COP chases injure and kill!!!

The only up side is the perp forced the COPs to execute him.

Capital Punishment is alive and well in Minnesota.

Thank you accurate shooting COPs and for shooting the perp until he was dead. There needs to be a Capital Punishment award for COPs that KILL a felon. You know a wood and brass award with names and maybe a cash award. You know like a bounty for killing a feral felon. Maybe a cash award based on the criminal record of the perp.

Lets give COPs an incentive to reduce te head count of feral felons in Minnesota.

The squad that hit the motorcycle was speeding to the scene of a police shooting, that is where cops got shot. That's what happens when a cop is shot, other cops race to the scene to assist.

IF one of your loved ones was sitting in a park and a police chase ended up killing your loved one do you think it might be the COPs fault?
