GOProud, Log Cabin Republicans Won't Participate In CPAC This Year

Source: Huffington Post

WASHINGTON -- Though the Republican Party's stance on same-sex marriage faced criticism from within its own ranks following the 2012 election, this year's session of the top conservative gabfest will not include the two leading conservative gay rights groups.

GOProud and the Log Cabin Republicans will not be participating in the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, top executives from both groups confirmed on Wednesday.

"We were kicked out last year and nothing has changed and we wont be at CPAC," GOProud's Jimmy LaSalvia said in an interview. "The last communication I've had from them is that we were kicked out. Nothing has changed."

"At the present time, we have no plans to participate in CPAC this year," Log Cabin Republicans spokesman West Honeycutt told The Huffington Post.

Isn't that like saying you are not going to a party you weren't invited to in the first place?
If it's true that the Log Cabins weren't invited to CPAC, that was a huge mistake. Some gays just may put things like jobs, the economy, access to affordable health insurance, and repealing Obama-care above their sexual preferences, and we need the votes of folks like that.

Well, if you were paying attention to anything but MSM liberal talking points you would know that Republicans want more competition, a greater variety in the extent of coverage, and getting rid of some of the ridiculous coverage now demanded of insurance companies.
Such as: why should something like birth control pills, which are already cheap, be covered by insurance? Does your auto insurance cover oil changes?(it would if liberals had their way)

Wow, IO was unaware that those were anything but talking points.

Could you post the names and numbers of the bills that the Republicans have introduced on these health care proposals?

I fail to understand why you would be against covering birth control if they are so cheap. Think of all the unawanted and aborted children birth control prevents. And think how much all those aditional babies would cost the system.

Anyone too cheep, cheep, cheep, to pay for their own birth control can go to Planned Parenthood, or in your case, the school nurse!

Again:

1) Could you post the names and numbers of the bills that the Republicans have introduced on these health care proposals?

2) I fail to understand why you would be against covering birth control if they are so cheap. Think of all the unawanted and aborted children birth control prevents. And think how much all those aditional babies would cost the system.

In other words, paying for birth control SAVES the government billions of dollars annually!

I'm curious how you are proposing to raise all that new tax money that will be needed if we no longer supply contraceptives.

Maybe if you weren't so obsessed with the sex lives of others you wouldn't have to spend your pathetic little life insulting strangers on the internet. Just a thought!!

Please stop picking on my dear Slewsie. He has a very delicate digestive system and upsetting it is not a pleasant thought. Slewsie dear, pay no attention to that mean lady.
