Good one mr low integrity poster(and poser). Follow up a statement about Skippy with a line saying "humphrey" was a pre-eminent statesman. You might want to state "Hubert" next time, just a thought. Try using some sense(I didn't say common sense, because in your posts it is not common) and some integrity, it might make it more interesting for your readers.

Hubert Humphrey was a statesman and well respected United States Senator. With Skippy when the apple fell from the tree it missed hitting Skippy and just rotted away on the ground. Skippy will always be remembered with being the AG who helped write the current indian gambling compact that provides NO REVENUE SHARING for the state unlike other states with indian gaming. Yep, he and Perpich screwed the state from receiving any percentage forever.

HHH was a well known politican and within the boundaries of Minnesota, would be ranked among the top 3 or 4 prominent figures. Statesman?? not sure I would hang this tag on him. He did shepard the Civil Rights act of 1964 through the Senate as it's President, but beyond that, I am not sure what he did to be considered a statesman. Good man, Nice guy, but Floyd B Olson, Alexander Ramsey, would rank, in the history books, ahead of him.
