Not quite.(at least in the real world, no telling about mr spell check prince)

Bush started the bailout for GM because the stock owners and bankers, who generally contribute republican, needed some payback.(you know, the 1% "evil rich" folks)
Obama continued the bailouts because the UAW are big democrat contributors. Also more of the 1% "evil rich" people (the union bosses, not the workers).

Corporate welfare is as simple as following the money. And it often knows no political affiliation since, as in the case of GM (or AIG), it played both sides of the fence and won. The taxpayers picked up the tab.

Have you stopped beating your wife yet? Same type of question redeemer. The GM deal is corporate welfare, by almost anybody's definition of the term.

I thought that you were a smart college guy but since you're not,I hope that you're are a least smarter then a fifth grader, now when you bought your home did you make a loan from your bank? and after the bank examined your income and your ability to repay your loan, then the bank invested in you,it was'nt corp.wefare
it was a loan,a finacial transaction and a good risk and a gamble
but the auto industry have been making good on their debt.case close we are winners unemployment is down back to the pre Bush era and still is falling and now we all are Moving Forward! Americans are buying american products.

The auto industry can't make good on their debt, the stock is sold already at a huge loss, the debt is basically forgiven as a form of corporate welfare. If I bought my house for $300k, then offered to buy my mortgage back for $150k and keep my house, the bank would laugh at me, and take my house. GM got forgiven billions of dollars, and gets to keep full control. It won't probably last two long with the UAW having some seats on the board of GM, but it was, is, and will be in the future, corporate welfare. If GM had re-purchased the shares of stock for the same valuation placed on them when the deal was first structured, it wouldn't have been corporate welfare. That isn't the case here.

one more thing fool Obama supporter(winners) pay income taxes too!
why are you so concern about other people money your fake broke social security as don't pay sht.plus why are you going off on me it's them idiot trolls on your side that been slamming you, your wingnuts buddies just been shting all over you hahahaha not us.
since you been on vacation you should read some of the lies that your fellow winger have been saying about you girl, heck even I had stand for you,and you're sore at me hmmm didn't none of your so call friends stand up for you except the fake black guy,the only friend that cares ME!
1. Obama's Stimulus Programs were not investments. They were vote buying mechanisms.

2. Obama supporters damn well should pay income taxes. But just like with the Republicans, far too few do. 51% of all US Households paid $0 in Federal Income Taxes last year. Everyone needs to pay something.

3. If you think I change my positions based on the opinions of a few, then you again are very wrong. I really don't care what anyone thinks of me on here. I state my beliefs and base those off of the US Constitution and US laws.

4. No offense, but you are not what I would consider a friend. I am quite choosy about who I call a friend.

I read this somewhere, funny how "stories" change....

Trolls/ball sack boi<quoted text> If you can find a flux capacitor, I will travel back in time with Michael J Fox, log in to Topix, and complain about Bush, Sure! You wont catch me defending Bush. He made PLENTY of mistakes.
I have never said Bush didn't make mistakes. I will even admit that they affected Obama's presidency...

IrishMN <quoted text>
When have you ever seen me beating the drum for Bush by saying he did not start diggin us into the hole we are in?

We could not afford 4 more years of GWB.....

Yet, ALL of you hypocrite humper bois CRY, whenever we mention ANY Bush culpability !??? WOW ! What a pair.... Mae West would be proud of you boobs ! LMAOROTF !

Slewsie,

Be careful that you do not become "locked" into your need to be me!

The Thorazine can only do so much to help you.

Also, your Bagina can only take so much Diddling as you type and post as me. It can be worn out, and then you will be stuck in the Infirmary at the Seattle West Insane Asylum!

AIG Whom we saved, is now going to sue us, because we failed to properly compensate the shareholders of the company we just took over and spend billions of dollars on not to fail, when we should have let it fail. This is what happens when you allow politicians to make financial decisions, they FU and then we have to clean up the mess, not once, but twice!! Liberalism at it's best!
