Crews install a precast architectural concrete panel with a sculpted likeness of the late photographer and filmmaker Gordon Parks, who grew up in St. Paul s Rondo neighborhood, on the Victoria Street Station in St. Paul on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013.

I can't wait for the CC to be running, wonderfull for commuters. All cars on north south streets across the CC will be STUCK.

Remember the Hiawatha traffic woes X 10.

The intersection of University Av and Snelling Av will make driving through Manhattan during rush hour look like child's play.

Agreed. my company did some resurfacing work on the are through the U of M. the traffic lights are already messed up, and the choo choo isn't even running yet.

my previous employer was based on hiawatha...that throughway was messed up beyond repair by the LRT...

we had perfectly good freeways to run those trains down...

I jumped on the forum this afternoon and what do I find, IrishMN and Woody and they are agreeing on something!! I immediatly had to sign in, check to make sure Hell hadn't froze over, then say Hello!

With their agreement a LARGE shadow is cast on the CC, it's not light from the other end of the tunnel opening, it's a train.
