Liberals' favorite word, BAN! Nothing says yum like a soggy cardboard container with your take out food dripping through it!

Yet another idea that will stick it to small businesses. Oh, and cause restaurants to switch to plastic instead of foam.

They could ban plastics except for PLA plastics.
.
http://environment.about.com/od/greenlivingde... Polylactic acid (PLA), a plastic substitute made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) is quickly becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics.

IMHO, ALL manmade materials must be banned from the BCWAWWCA.

There is no reason to carry anything into the wilderness that is manmade or un-natural.

Of course that would result in banning gays because they are manmade/unnatural.

Reason I pushed PLA plastics as a exemption to the ban.
.
Is that it is not only made from stuff like corn. But it is also biodegradable. One can throw it into the compost pile. and it will break down.
