Rocket Scientist,

I know that you feel that the world started the day you were born, but it didn't.

EVERY Economic System is "Cyclical" (Google "Cyclical").

If nobody did anything, the system will cycle up and down.

If prosperity is the objective, there are actions that will increase prosperity.

If a Socialist Engineer's personal feelings about "Economic Patriotism" is the objective, their action will decrease prosperity (Unless one is a Crony or Teleprompter-Reader of the Chicago Mob).

Not even the Lowest Collectivist can stop the Cycle, but he can fauch it up for 5 years and delay the inevitable "Up" that the economy will cycle too.

This lesson is Free for you Grasshopper!

The ones spinning the numbers are the Libs.

5 million fewer people are working today than when Obama took office.

Don't Be Fooled, The Obama Unemployment Rate Is 11%

When Barack Obama entered office in January, 2009, the labor force participation rate was 65.7%, meaning nearly two-thirds of working age Americans were working or looking for work.

When the recession supposedly officially ended in June, 2009, the labor force participation rate was still 65.7%.

In the latest, much celebrated, unemployment report, the labor force participation rate had plummeted to 63.7%, the most rapid decline in U.S. history. That means that under President Obama nearly 5 million Americans have fled the workforce in hopeless despair.

The trick is that when those 5 million are not counted as in the work force, they are not counted as unemployed either.

How many aged out of the job market?

"The increase in median age from 32.9 years in 1990 to 35.3 in 2000 reflects a 4-percent drop in the number of persons between 18 to 34 years old combined with a 28-percent increase in the population between 35 to 64 years of age.

The most rapid increase in size of any age group in the profile was the 49 percent jump in the population 45-to-54-years-old. This increase, to 37.7 million in 2000, was fueled mainly by the entry into this age group of the first of the "baby boom" generation (those born from 1946 to 1964)."

You're right little buddy. Some are crying for you.

I prefer to laugh.

How do you feel today? Seems like kind of a rough start. Can we send someone out to check on you?

Dumbo, the garbage you posted has nothing to do with the segment of the population that "aged out" of the job market.

Want to offer an opposing view point? Find a fact that relates to the issue.

Read what was written in Forbes. "Don't Be Fooled, The Obama Unemployment Rate Is 11%"

Here is another site where, if you take the time to understand what is actually there, shows that we still have nothing to celebrate as far as our economy goes:

The St Paul name-jacker(a**) seems to believe that this is some kind of justification for the policies of this Administration, which rang up a 8.1-8.2% unemployment, because, due to death, retirement and people who stopped looking, the jobless rate dropped. Well I guess you take victories where ever they are, regardless of how irrelevant they are. Nice Work Mr. President!!
