And people tell me I am wrong when I say we can cut the size of the Federal Imperial Government in half and life in this country would improve.

This shows how bloated and unnecessary most of the Federal Government is.

Yes, but you aren't taking into account the massive unemployment surge that canning half of the bloated government would create...

I do hope you are not serious, but in case you are...there are two simple options:

1. Let it happen. The downturn in taxes will cause an expansion in the private sector economy. This in turn will cause an upsurge in private sector hiring. That will take care of the problem. The short term pain would be erased by a very long term explosive gain.

2. Or put an immediate freeze on all hiring by the Federal Imperial Government. Within a decade, attrition will have the same effect as the hiring freeze. While the positive economic impact will not be as immediate, it will have a very positive effect on the bottom line of every middle class working household.

Agreed. Seems that the govt is trying to get these teachers to be more competitive on getting students.
.
How soon if the govt gets it's way we will see ads advertising music teachers. And how they are supposedly much better than the other music teachers of the same area?

I believe the root idea here is to unionize piano teachers, thereby creating another voting block and eventually, creating "government approved" teachers.

As well as make them compete. As in trying to 'steal' the other teachers' students. So no one teacher has a monopoly over any given student.
