Trying to force women against their will, even rape victims, to have babies... but refusing to raise minimum wage to feed them. Blocking equal pay laws. Tried to stop the Violence Against Women Act from passing. A dozen or more other things. I think a woman would be a fool for voting republican.

It wasn't & isn't the democrat party doing these things. It's the republicans who did things like voting against the VAWA, blocking equal pay laws (repealing a fair pay law in one state), wanting to give the government the authority to control women's reproductive rights, in two states wanting to legally list being a single mother as contributing to child abuse, cutting funding to rape crisis centers and programs, opposing insurance covering the pill, wanting to end Planned Parenthood, stopped several bills to force insurance companies to stop charging women far more than men for the exact same policies (this isn't a part of Obamacare. These were separate laws unrelated to the Healthcare law), killed a bill that would have bared companies from retaliating against employees that inquire about pay disparities, wanting to ban Plan-B (which 'is not' abortion), wanted to redefine the definition of rape, ban full sex-ed in school, cut education funds, opposing the new military policy permitting women to defend our own nation, & all the very stupid remarks they make about us.

No, thank you. You have made it very clear that you believe republicans are all evil people who hate women, and fully believe that democrats will forever resolve all of our critical issues here in America. You couldn't be more wrong, but you were quite clear.

In my post #80 those are very "real" bills and moves by the republican party. Feel free to goggle any or all of them up.

And all of it done by the republicans, not the democrats.

A woman would have to be a complete idiot to vote republican. It's definitely voting against her own self-interests.

I can find just as many actions performed by democrats that have had deleterious effects on our nation, our citizins and our civil rights. One screaming example is that most of the democrats in power at the time voted to invade Iraq, despite a gaping lack of evidence that there was any reason to do so. No WMD's, no direct attack on our people by Iraq or Sadaam, etc. They only voted to invade Iraq because they were afraid of being labeled unpatriotic. The point being, your unbridled faith in a given political party is misguided and unwarranted. Neither party has tbe best interests of our nation in mind. It is no different in having faith in Islam, or Christianity or anything else. Blind faith is just plain foolish.

And let's not forget all of the bad policies of the Bush admin that Obama has been more than happy to continue. Would you like me to list them? And all of the 1%'ers in congress who are fooling people like yourself in to believing they are going to raise taxes on themselves. If you believe that one I have some really nice bridges I would like to sell you.

Female White House Staffers Got Smaller Raises Than Men

Salary data released last week revealed average male staffers at the White House earn about 13% more than their female counterparts. The White House responded by pointing out six female staffers received high profile promotions in the past year. However, according to data collected by the conservative consulting firm Target Point, the women who were promoted at the White House received smaller raises than men.

While the average man promoted at the White House received a 24.4% raise, Target Point found the average raise for a promoted woman was 18.5%. Target Point also found 46 men were promoted at the White House between 2013 and 2014 compared to 41 women. Additionally, the firm noted 88 women left White House jobs in the past year while only 77 men departed

Sarah Palin Drives Stake Through Heart of 'True Blood' Producers

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin rejected overtures from True Blood's producers for a cameo role on the conservative-bashing vampire show. Her instincts proved to be correct after Sunday's HBO episode in which Republican women were once again demeaned when one of the lead characters said in horror, "Oh my God, I'm a Republi-c*nt."

Palin told Breitbart News after she heard about the misogynistic episode that she simply wondered, "'True Blood' or true gall?"

"The brilliant minds of 'True Blood' were brazen enough to ask me to do a cameo on their show, apparently so they could insult a conservative woman in person instead of just all conservative women in general," Palin told Breitbart News. "Their offer wasn’t presented in any negative way, perhaps to benefit from a surprise factor after the guest appearance. I turned them down anyway."

Palin also had some choice words for hypocritical Hollywood liberals who often gin up the phony "war on women" rhetoric.

"To producers who throw these deceitfully 'flattering' bones that sound fun on the surface, is it really any wonder I don't accept your offers to participate in your shows?" she said. "Nice try HBO. I’d put any mama grizzly in America against a vampire any day; for only one of them actually exists. The left wants to talk about a 'war on women'? Keep engaging in your misogynist attacks on women you disagree with and we’ll see who wins your self-inflicted war in the court of decent public opinion."
