These corporations don't care about people only their bottom line.

Boycott Target and any of them who support hate filled candidates like Emmer and Bachmann.

If Education Minnesota gets to donate to politicians, why not corporations. Its about time corporations got equal footing with the unions on campaign contributions.

I missed the relationship. Employees work for Target, not the other way around. So just tell the employee's to sit down, shut up and color in the book.

This reeks of political opportunism.

Then again, maybe Corporate America should be limited once again to the narrow scope of what incorporation is supposed to do...supporting political candidates not one of them.

I am switching much of my corperate buying over to Target. That ought to offset you disgusting little boycott. Corperations should have the right to back candidates who are dedicated to a strong free market economy.

The DFL is obviously a wholely owned subsidiary of the government employee unions so why can't the other side get involved? Why anyone who isn't a government employee would vote Democrat is beyond me.

"He pointed out that several PACs supported by DFL donors and unions have vastly outstripped MN Forward in fundraising. One group, the Alliance for a Better Minnesota, has attacked Emmer repeatedly and has a new television ad starting today"

These "activists" had better get used to it. We are no longer going to sit silent while they rant and rave against anyone who doesn't agree with them. The corporations have every RIGHT to endorse and fund those people who support THEIR policies. Go Target, many, many people support you!!

Target just doesn't get it. If you are not 100% pure on the homosexual rights issue, you are automatically considered to be a deadly enemy. Go to the homosexual web pages and note the tantrums being thrown.

to those who say they will boycott these stores with in two weeks every one will forget and they will be back buying again Look out its a sell at Target. Come on people get a life and look at the real issues going on in Minnesota like getting jobs back, keeping our kids in school. and whats funny this has been happening for years people this is nothing new.

I'm curious why Target and the other retailers who are supporting MNForward and who relies on the profits generated by sales to their customers/guests doesn't seem to be concerned about how the policies advocated by MNForward and Emmer will impact their bottom line when customers and guest can no longer afford to spend money at their stores

Why is it OK for some orgainization to donate to the DFL and no one from the IR's say much but when an organization donates to the IR all this bombast comes out?

If heterosexual groups stated boycotting DFL supported companies ONLY because they support the gay adenda they would be called "homophobes".

I guess in this case these homosexuals are "heterophobes".

Sounds ridiculous? Yes it does. But so is the gay rhetoric on who is phobic or not.

This just goes to show that businesses shouldn't get involved in politics. As Michael Jordan once said when asked why he wouldn't endorse a democratic candidate running against Jesse Helms, "Republicans buy sneakers, too." Alienating significant segments of your customer base is bad business, plain and simple.
