Guess I was set up by a super genius. Except for one thing.

Federal spending on corporate welfare exceeded $100,000,000,000 in 2012.

$746,000,000,000 on federal means tested welfare in 2012.

Why the drastic change? Because in July the HHS declared that they had the authority to gut the work requirements from welfare reform.

Both corporate welfare and social welfare have increased dramatically under BHO. And he plans to spend $12.7 trillion on means-tested welfare over the next decade. And the terminally slewpid think this is good.

Bush is not the president anymore and hasn't been for some time but Obama has been more than happy to carry on his failed and is some cases, immoral policies.

When dems talk welfare, they don't include Section 8 housing and food stamps, just direct cash payments.

Why do you think he referenced 2006? Because it is a lot farther out of whack now.

I would hope the main reason Obama is in Chicago is to discuss the violent and out of control nature of his Chicago tribal members. Is their violence somehow linked to the economy?

King of the Knee Grows will be in his homeland today addressing his peeps. He will use the old excuse of blaming poverty as the reason for his tribes violent nature. In the days before welfare the two could have been linked, but the white folk (like the Irish) worked their way out of poverty. Not the black folks. The welfare system is a job for them and their just violent.
"The president’s remarks at Hyde Park Academy this afternoon will be devoted to the “ladders of opportunity” he thinks will help working families, like raising the federal minimum wage and investing in education, a senior administration official has said.
But the president’s emphasis this week is on promoting job creation and economic recovery, aides say, in the belief that solutions to violence and other social problem hang in the balance.
He and Vice President Joe Biden have made the case in recent weeks that the solution to gun violence isn’t just about gun control, but also about improving access to educational opportunities, social programs and mental health services.
To clear these pathways to the middle class, Obama on Tuesday night proposed creating “promise zones” in 20 struggling communities, helping them develop plans and leverage federal resources to increase economic activity.

And because BHO was not president in 2006. Now it's 2013, the messiah is in his second term, and it's all on his shoulders. And he is living up to expectations by spending as much as he can before his term is over.

What Barry is saying here is he is going to waste a lot of taxpayer money on his tribe. This will help no one and do nothing in regards to their violent nature. He also claims $9 an hour wage is going to help anyone. It buy some of these fools an extra carton of cigarettes every week.

""My intention is to partner with 20 of the hardest-hit communities in America to get them back in the game," said the president, before outlining a multipronged strategy of local and national collaborations to tackle public safety, improve education, replace run-down public housing and offer private-sector hiring incentives.

Lastly, he said, "we're going to target neighborhoods struggling to deal with violent crime ... and help them reduce that violence with strategies that have been proven to work."

Calm down cheesewhiz. Chicago brings money into that sausage and cheese commerce you have there in trailertown. Who else is going to buy those Door county trinkets and the mercury filled fish? If there was another source of income in tinkletowm, maybe your footbsll players wouldn't poop in closets and hot tub with underage girls. Maybe even put wheels on those trailers, who knows?
