It's like the saying, if a tree falls in the forest, does any one hear it? If Sheppard doesn't play (or plays), will anyone notice?

Sheppard played 64 games and had 6 pts.... YES 6!!

Boogaard played 57 games and had 5 pts....

Sheppard is garbage- wish him well in recovering but he is awful. Another great draft pick by the Wild Organization....

This may be a blessing in disguise to get rid of this overrated punk! Shep is such a tool and while I hate to hear of anyone getting injured in a crash, this proves he is a careless moron. Good riddance "Schlep-pard"....

This is fantastic news. The Wild will now be forced to give this roster spot to someone who might actually be able to play hockey. Were is not for the accident we would have been listening to ll the hype and excuses. Now if we can only get PMB on a four wheeler too......

I was unaware driving an ATV made you a "Redneck" but thanks for clarifying, I am sure I am not the only one that appreciates your intelligent input. By the way, what ATV weighs over 3,000 pounds?
