Your idea of a "human being" and mine differ. A criminal does not have "the right to live" at the expense of decent, law abiding citizens. This happened in my neighborhood, which is full of hard-working, decent, human beings and when the bullets start flying, I'm glad this was the only "human being" killed. Good riddance! He shouldn't have been on the streets in the first place.

The loss of any human life is to be mourned. I will never look at that spot the same again. I am very concerned that someone with a record like that was in my neighborhood and associated with someone carrying a weapon with the capability of killing someone. I feel very safe here and have checked police records and I know that there is little crime historically here, let alone a murder. I only hope this is not a new trend of crime entering our neighborhood and is a freak incident. I hope the police catch the killer and this doesn't drop into a cold case file. I wish the media would release more info since this involves my neighborhood I would like to know what happened. Unfortunately I can only guess this is all we will probably know.

That's right! Let's all show some class here. A black person murdered a black person. It just doesn't happen that often.

What the F*** is wrong with you people. How do you get off having the right to invade a persons privacy like this. None of these offences are that serious. You people are sick. Every human beings life is worth something. A criminal can always turn their life around. What about the millionaires that donate to charity and live their lives with their families, happy as can be, than one day turn around and murder them all? NONE of you have any type of judgement on this man. He is missed dearly.

You are the most ignorant person who has ever been allowed to post on line. It shows that you have nothing better to do in life but sit around and judge a murder victim's past. Regardless of what his life was like he didn't deserve to lose his life in such a vicious way. There is a tinge of racism in your comments which show how detached you are from reality. Would you feel the same way if both the victim and shooter were white? Delwin was a father, a son, a cousin, a nephew, a brother, and a good friend with all of his mistakes. His memory will live on in our hearts forever and we will continue to educate the younger generation about violence and racial ignorance. Its people like you, crassus, that need help. Stop being a dumb ass and grow up!

Guess everyones definition of serious differs.

Having not gotten as much as a traffic ticket in 30 years of driving and my smarter half never gotten as much as a ticket. I would say this guy is a violent crimminal with a history of DWI, assault, gun carrying by a felon.

IMHO he should have been in prison for life.

Why are you commenting on this story 2 months after the fact? And why are you defending a hard core criminal who didn't even bother to marry the mother(s) of his children?
You're right , he didn't deserve to die in such a vicious way, the electric chair would have been much kinder. And, quit blaming your problems on "racial ignorance!"

I hope that you are a troll and don't actually think that rape, kidnapping, attempted kidnapping, and 1st degree burglary are not "that serious".

It wasn't kidnap. He was trying to save his kids from the drug addict mother. You don't know shit about any of these cases.
