Why not? Obama and Congress do it all the time. You should be used to it by now.
Yes, congress does it all the time. Obama might as well be a republican for as much good as he does. The statement didn't refer to the fact that it was done. Of course it is done. The question is why do you believe it and defend it?

I neither believe nor defend much of anything that comes out of Washington DC. They should all be fired after one term. Unless they can prove they actually did something that benefited the nation during their first term. As of this writing, that would be exactly none.

remember not one REPUBLICAN voted for this mess, great opportunity for REPUBLICANS to take over the house and senate in 2014, thanks to barry soetoro and his socialist muslim adgenda. Republicans make it know that all liberal voted for this TAX INCREASE to Americans.

Less than one in five Americans say their families will be better off under the new health care law, according to a new poll.
But a CNN/ORC International survey released Tuesday morning also indicates a majority say the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, will help some people, with 37% saying the law, which is gradually starting to kick in, won't help anyone.
According to the poll, four in 10 say the new law will make their families worse off, while 41% believe it will have no effect.
Seventeen percent think the measure will be a good thing for themselves or their families.
The poll's release comes on the same day as a key element of the health care law takes effect, as Americans without insurance can begin enrolling in state insurance exchanges.
And it comes hours after the shutdown of the federal government courtesy of a bitter partisan battle over the new health care law.
According to the poll, 36% say they won't benefit from the new law but other families will. If you add to that the 17% who believe Obamacare will help them personally, the survey indicates that most Americans see some good coming from it. Some 37% say no one in the country will benefit from the measure.
As the exchanges open for business, 52% say the health insurance system created by Obamacare is a disaster waiting to happen, with 45% saying the system will eventually work.
The poll was conducted for CNN by ORC International September 27-29, with 803 adults nationwide questioned by telephone. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

NO wonder unemployment is going down - everybody has to work part time.

First firemen and now teachers:

"The Affordable Care Act could cost the Jefferson City public schools more than a $150,000," said the news anchor.

"This came to light at last night's board meeting when district officials told board members they would have to pay health insurance for substitute teachers," says the other anchor.

"They knew it was coming, they just didn't exactly know how they were going to handle it. As small business around the nation have seen it coming, and they've been wondering how they will accommodate the Affordable Care Act. Just like them, the district is also asking that question. The district could limit subtitutes to 28 hours per week, or face paying six thousand dollars per person for health benefits for at least 25 individuals who are on the rolls and qualify. If they don't comply with the new federal law, the district would be fined millions of dollars by the federal government. While district officials didn't go as far as saying the federal government is hurting more than helping, I was told the $150,000 dollar cost is about the same cost as three teachers in the district, to put it into perspective," the reporter explains.

PROOF again that this wasn't about health care for the poor.

Oregon signs up just 44 people for Obamacare despite spending $300 million:

Oregon, once touted as a model for President Obama's health care law, signed up just 44 people for insurance through November, despite spending more than $300 million on its state-based exchange.

The state’s exchange had the fewest sign-ups in the nation, according to a new report today by the Department of Health and Human Services.

You are kinder to the criminals than I am. More than being fired, they belong in jail. If they don't want to do the time, they should not have committed the crimes. Most can be convicted on the basis of what they did do to the nation.

OBAMACARE turns it back on the very people they claim they want to help - people with expensive perscriptions.

If you haven't noticed, not only has your deductible skyrocketed, but many of the more expensive perscriptions are no longer covered by insurance. This means that while your old insurance may have covered your expensive medications, many new plans will not.

“For some of the high-risk members, it’s a matter of life or death,” says Tanya Case, executive director of the National Association of State High Risk Pools.“We have many members who are on specialty medications that they have no way of affording on their own.”

Speaking of least affordable...

For the second week in a row, the Washington Healthplanfinder website is down, and it's causing problems for people who are dealing with billing issues. Some of them say the website is mistakenly debiting their accounts.

Shannon Bruner of Indianola logged on to her checking account Monday morning, and found she was almost 800 dollars in the negative.

One viewer emailed KING 5 saying, "They drafted my account this morning for a second time."

Another woman on Facebook with a similar problem commented, "We are all in the same boat."

“We've got to figure out how to get money to pay the bills for the next week or two until we have another check come through,” said Josh Bruner.“It's just crazy.”

Washington Healthplanfinder emailed the Bruners a few days ago telling them to log in to view their invoice, something they couldn't do because the website has been down. The Bruners haven't been able to get through on the helpline either. They finally contacted Healthplanfinder administrators by posting a message on their Facebook page.
