PRUDENT would be another term for stupid. Apparently you have never had malware on your computer? If you did, did you ignore instructions on how to clear out the malware and instead throw it away?
Worst case, they could have just re-imaged or reformatted the hard drives and saved a boat load of money. Keyboards, mice and monitors don't get malware.

But, better safe than sorry - as long as TAXPAYERS are footing the bill.
It wouldn't be that hard to restrict the user access to the web so they can't be perusing sites that are not work related.

Oh that would be WAY TOO MUCH to expect the Government to figure out.
Heck the Government can't even figure out who a BOMBER is when delivered on a Silver Platter by RUSSIA for God's sake!!
Sales of Vodka continue at record rates ever since the Boston Bombing. The Russian's can't believe how phocking stupid the USA Government is.. Rightfully so!!!
The USA Government is blaming RUSSIA for not providing more detail on the Bostom Bombers. What a phocking JOKE!! Did the USA Government expet the RUSSIAN's to track every move the Boston bombers made in the USA???
Obviously the USA Government didn't track them at all, the Russian's could have done a better job of it!!
Maybe eliminate the DHS and hire Russia to protect the USA?
Can't be made up ladies and gentelmen.
The feds are far too busy tracking the phone records, internet usage habits, travel plans, sexual practices, etc. of law abiding US citizens to be paying attention to terrorists and bombers.
