So what? If guns don't kill them, second hand smoke will. What about those poor people standing nearby who have to breath in the smoke from the gun barrell? We need gun free zones.

you people are creeps this was a boy. But, you sound like children yourselves, so I guess that's supposed to be an excuse for being a creep.

These murders WILL CONTINUE until good old RT gets tough with the thugs on the street.

"Boy shot" will be the norm instead of the exception in Minneapolis and soon to come to St. Paul with the new sewer line planned AKA LRT.

Crimminals seem to have difficulty getting to St. Paul on the bus but the LRT will make it very easy to get around.

Always seems like if I-94 was ripped up between here and Chicago crime would decline.

Mpls is (was?) a pretty nice city but I feel it has a long way to fall before it reaches bottom. I lived in the city for 10+ years... I did my time. I don't live there anymore and I am glad. I do feel bad about the level of crime that exists because there are so many good people living in the city. But unless the city gets tough on criminals and gangs it will continue to get worse. If Manhattan can clean itself up so can Mpls!

its sad that everyday you turn on the news and hear how a low live killed someone. dont parents teach their kids right from wrong anymore?
the sad thing is.....once he does get cought this looser is only going to be in jail for a lil while, since our system sucks...we need harder punishment for inmates....espezially if they are repeat offenders!

Just because he used the word "BOY" you assume he is black? I'd question who the real racist is here. A "boy" is dead...don't matter the color!!!!!

Yeah, 420 Dude, it's the police department's fault.

Your attitude is part of the problem. You don't want to blame the POS shooter, you blame the police instead.

WTF?

Are you old enough to drive? My 13 yr. old nephew says more intelligent things than you do.

I have a friend who works on the MPD, and he spends 100% of his time in North Minneapolis. He doesn't even take a lunch break he is so busy.

"dont parents teach their kids right from wrong anymore?"

No, Jessy, they don't! That's the root of most of our problems! The problem is especially acute in "inner city" areas. A single parent (usually the mother) cannot effectively raise children- and certainly not boys. This phenomenom has even been observed in elephant groups. If there are no bull elephants around, the young bulls are not socialized.

You are a complete and total idiot. Have you ever been to Lake and Portland? I doubt it! There are cops EVERYWHERE! Unfortunately, gangbangers don't care. Oh, and about the donut comment.....that is very old. Take a look at the average American and then take a look at the average cop. I think you would find that cops are in much better shape than the average American. So...statistically speaking, you are probably a bigger fat ass than most of the cops you like to rip on from behing your computer screen.
