What is a Chevy Volt?

Is that battery car that costs $45,000 and goes 10 miles at -20 without heat?

So why would anyone buy one?

Is Obama mandating we all buy a Volt?

Sounds revolting to me..

Poll Shows Majority Support Obama's Debt Ceiling Proposal

As the deadline to raise the debt limit and avoid a government default draws closer, the results of a NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey released on Tuesday showed that a plurality of Americans now say that Congress should raise the debt ceiling.

A majority of Americans also support President Barack Obama's "balanced approach" to addressing the budget deficit, according to the survey.

The poll showed that 58 percent support the president's proposal, which would cut the deficit by $4 trillion by cutting federal spending, increasing taxes on corporations and the wealthy, and reducing the level of spending on Medicare.

Meanwhile, 36 percent support a proposal from Republicans in Congress that would cut the deficit by $2.5 trillion just through reductions in spending.
