This seems logical.

----------

We petition the Obama Administration to:

Eliminate armed guards for the President, Vice-President, and their families, and establish Gun Free Zones around them

Gun Free Zones are supposed to protect our children, and some politicians wish to strip us of our right to keep and bear arms. Those same politicians and their families are currently under the protection of armed Secret Service agents. If Gun Free Zones are sufficient protection for our children, then Gun Free Zones should be good enough for politicians.

The White House has called the NRA ad "repugnant and cowardly," while New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said it was "reprehensible" and undermined the NRA's credibility by bringing the president's children into the debate. Christie is considered a possible Republican presidential contender in 2016.

Susan Eisenhower, the daughter of the late President Dwight Eisenhower who had Secret Service protection as a child, wrote in the Washington Post that she was "disgusted" by the ad.

The NRA's president, David Keene, objected to the White House criticism earlier this month, saying "We didn't name the president's daughters ... What we said is that these are people who think that their families deserve protection that yours don't."

The president's critics also have noted that when Obama announced his plan to respond to the gun violence, he was flanked by four children. Obama proposed renewing a U.S. assault weapons ban, as well as banning high-capacity magazines and more stringent background checks for gun purchasers.

Gee TrashyLiar, you're "repugnant and cowardly," a new HIGH POINT !!!

They should do it. Get rid of the guns. If "Gun Free Zones" work for our children and their schools, they surely would work just as well for all of the government officials and The President.

Think of the savings! No more buying bullets or evil weapons that can hurt people. We can plant more flowers right next to the garden that Moochelle plants vegetables in each spring with their daughters.

It will be a veru nurturing moment when we finally do give up those evil weapons.

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

I think this makes a lot of sense. The left will not like it because there is no exemptions for them

The ad was a cheap shot and load of crap. It never should have aired nor should they never tried to tie in protection for elected officials who are put into a higher risk group.

Of course, THAT reality is beyond a gun nut...

Oh and remember NoTA and SL, post #4 has no validity or credibility since it was most likely plagiarized from some unnamed source.

Do you want me to provide you with the e-mail addresses for each of those agencies?

The fake black guy is not smart enough to know his e-mail address. So no way he would be able to find all of the above addresses.

You may have noticed that most of the state, county, and municipal court houses these days are "gun free zones". Except for the armed police officers all over the place.

Are you for freakin' real?

The "threat" you talk of was pulled off the White House Petition web site.

If you are given one second of time from any of our very highly paid civil servents, that is a great example of more government waste.

Yeah, fake black guy...march right on over to 1501 Freeway Blvd, in Brooklyn Center. Let me know when you are going to be there. I'd love to see that one.
