Suicide, many of the deaths, by gun are safer when a gun is used instead of:

suicide by crashing a motor vehicle with the killer and victim inside

jumping from high places into water or ice

jumping onto a traffic lane

walking into a lane of traffic

You see when commiting suicide in public there can be many other victims having nothing to do with the suicidal person.

So gun suicide is a good thing.

In most other killings there were criminals involved who shouldn't have a gun. No new laws would help removing guns from those people.

I'd be willing to bet those murders without photos were blacks.

Remember when Nany Pelosi said that the Affordable Care Act Bill (Obamacare) had to be passed in order to find out what was in it? I bet she and Feinstein wish they would have read the bill. It contains a provision which actually bans gun registration and the collection of information on legal gun owners, other than class three weapons which already requires that information from the owners assault rifles, short barreled shotguns, gun suppressors and other class three weapons.

Would YOU consider someone jumping off a freeway overpass killing themself OR someone shooting themself in the privacy of their home the better solution?

Given the assumption once a person decides to do it they WILL DO IT.
