It's a life-style, we had to give people free babysitting just to get them to go out and get a part-time job and still keep their government benefits.
And, we're told it's better for the kids.

Thank you for your suggestion of building a time machine and turning back to the "good old days". We will take it under consideration.

exactly, stay at home and educate your own children, until they are 5 yrs old and ready for full day school. If you are going to have 15 kids, then budget your time and money to SUPPORT them yourself.

it is not the govt responsibility to feed, and care for YOUR children. If you have more that 5-6 kids you should pay more taxes for schools.

The sequester only targets programs that will either tug at the heart strings of people (meals on wheels), or make them afraid (military, police, fire cuts).

This story is even more evidence of that and of the fact that America has a huge spending problem. And a lot of corruption in Washington.

Your other moniker, cantgetitup ?? Heck, you cannot hold a bat, let alone run...

I thought I wanted to do "real man's work" once and went to work during my college years in a foundry, on the 3rd shift, doing a similar task - and I it because of the macho image, plus it paid about 17 cents an hour more than my job in the grocery business.
The first night was one of those steamy summer nights where it goes down to about 92 degrees, with 90% humidity. Inside the plant it had to be at least 120 degrees with the furnaces running.
I lasted until the first break, then said I was going out for a smoke & ran like hell to get away. I was too embarrassed to even go pick up my check for the 2 hours and 15 minutes I was on the payroll.

Ahhh. It was nothing. Obama and his administration make it easy.
But thanks.

Notice how the low information, no integrity troll is falling back on the old "multiple moniker" routine in the absence of any kind of rational debate, discourse, or retort.

The same ignoramus got on that kick a couple of years ago.

Anyone with a St Paul IP address was JW. And those that had a WI IP address were also JW. And then you, con, Niether, and a host of others were also JW.

I do like your descriptive of the loser who claims to be from Seattle as being stumped when someone says "Hi". That is 100% accurate.

If there is a Hall of Fame for internet trolls, the Sludge would in it.
