This will take the MN excise tax on cigarettes to 2.54 a pack.

North Dakota is 44 cents.

Won't be long before semi-monthly trips to N.D. will be on par with the former Seniors bus trips to Canada for prescriptions.

Go Broke.

Just like when electronic pull tabs don't pay for the Vikings stadium. Use the General Fund and raise taxes.

That is why Dayton is raising taxes 3+ BILLION when he only needs 1.1 BILLION to balance the budget.

Once they get the extra 3.5B in the bank the money WILL burn a hoole in their pocket and it will be wasted on all kinds of wonderful Government junk. You watch.

For those of you that think that MN only has a 1.1 B shortfall?

You may wish to contact your local legislator and ask about the 17 Billion in unfunded pension liabilities!!

Yeah, they don;t talk about that where the children can hear do they?

That's probably where the excess will go.

You know the pensions will be funded one way or another. Dayton just sneaking a couple of BILLION extra here and there. The sheepie won't notice, they have been dumbed down by Government.

As opposed to smoking, which raises OUR healthcare costs ??? Preety sad, you really have noting intelligent to post.
Smokers use less health care money vs. what they pay into then healthy people. I have already shown you that the most expensive condition is old age. If this is really about healthcare and not just a money grab, then shouldn't the money go to pay for smoker's medical costs?

P.S. Dems sure love those regressive taxes.

Minnesota has some serious spending issues and Gov. Googly eyes refuses to acknowledge it. At least his family was smart enough to set up their trusts for Markie in a state with much lower taxes. Which means his tax hikes will not affect him.
The MN budget has increased an average of 17% every biennium over the last 40 years.

It was in a moment of orgasmic Ecstasy during a "Do Me Consistent Dream" that she created the "Bioch Slap" confusion she repeatedly is posting this evening.

She was shouting "Bioch Slap Me Ace" while she suckled the Massa's member....Uncle Daddy REALLY messed up his child didn't he!

Would you like to have an intelligent discussion on what part you consider wrong? Was it that old age is the single greatest cost to our health care system? That people who live healthy tend to live longer and use more of the expensive end of life care? That the sin tax on cigarettes (that the dems say are to counter balance to cost of smokers to our health care system) is not going to pay for smoker's health care? How about the number of regressive taxes passed by the DFL?
