What is really sad is the information he gave in that post is the most he has given in the last month.

One never knows for sure how a retail operation will go. I had several friends who predicted the MOA would be a ghost town within 2 years. If I am not mistaken it's still going OK these days. Matter of fact over 40 million visitors annually so I guess its doing fine. And I expect this new Eagan development will survive quite nicely.

While you could be right, Eagan still paid $40 million for property to sell for $14 million to an outlet mall developer, not the use they intended when they took the property by eminent domain. Take from the small business owners to give to the rich developers at a $26 million loss, way to go Eagan.

Excellent example why Government should stay out of business.

When Government makes a bad deal the taxpayers take the hit. If private sector blows a deal their bottom line takes a hit.

In a case like this the "by the people for the people" public officials should all be terminated!

Dangerous Sociopath,

As a poster that is either intoxicated or under medicated, why does it not bother you to come on here and post nothing but your "Projections" to other posters?

Everybody here knows how fauched up you are as a Defective Human Being. How come you and your Multiple Personalities are the only ones that consistently avoid ANY conversation that Threads are based on, and simply "work out your Mommy and Daddy issues" with strangers by "Projecting" yourself onto them with the variety of abuses you employ like a child on the Playground?

Do you "Feel" that nobody really knows what you are?

Your dangerous nature as a Psychopath needs to be addressed by Law Enforcement Professionals before you hurt others that may have the displeasure of contact with you outside your Fantasy World on Topix!

People still flock to the outlet malls in Woodbury as well as the ones well out of the metro. What Eagan doesn't need is more apartments (do you really have to ask why) and more condominiums (an already flooded market). Eagan is a wonderful town full of commerce and those that choose to live here appreciate that and will appreciate yet another shopping choice. Leave the mall of America to the wealthy and the thugs. You go Eagan!

The mall's footprint leaves about 16 acres of city-owned land for future development that could help fulfill the city's vision for a mix of uses in the area. "It could a hotel or office space or market-rate rental housing."

Or it could be a go-cart track and a trailer park.

The outlet mall in Woodbury off of 94 was torn down several years ago. As far as I know that was the only mall of its type in Woodbury.

There was one in Oakdale - also torn down a couple of years ago.

I have already gone down this road with Slew numerous times. No matter how many times you explain it or what proof you provide; he will ignore it. He is so desperate to not be wrong that he will do everything in his power to avoid admitting to it. That is why he is now pushing the incorrect use of low-ball. He originally said "low ball" and must not be wrong. Forget trying to explain that low-ball is a variant of the bait and switch technique, and lowball is a cost estimate at the low end of the cost range.

P.S. a hyphenated word is still a single word, so Slew is doubly wrong.

It was fun for a while to cause him consternation, but I am beginning to tire of feeding the troll. It is amazing the sheer volume of threads and posts he spams on a daily basis, more often than not with cut and paste put downs of no significance, most times unrelated to the current thread. I really do believe that Slew thinks that he wins by posting last, pointless and bereft of any value as his posts may be.
