Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin Guilty of Corruption

Ray Nagin was convicted Wednesday of accepting bribes and free trips from contractors in exchange for helping them clinch millions of dollars in city work when he was mayor of New Orleans.

These cases beg the question; who did these guys piss off?

Hundreds,(if not thousands) of mayors across the country are as corrupt as they can be. Who do you suppose these guys crossed that got their transgressions brought in to the light?

Another republican governor goes down in flame too with his wife Ex-governor McDonald was indicted for bribe's and corruption charges he and his wife are awaiting sentencing.
So I guess that his conviction will stop him from being a runner up for the POTUS.

Good one AWG/FBG/Bob-o-many-names. There was a Gov in VA that was recently found guilty of accepting gifts while in office. That brings the count of convicted felons to:

Democrats: 1,972 elected officials now in prison
Republicans: 841 elected officials now in prison
