Romney Is Selling His Transition Report Even Though It Was Funded By Taxpayers
Under a federal law enacted in 2010, taxpayers now fund efforts by presidential nominees to begin their White House transition efforts even before the election, by providing federal services and facilities to the transition operation. Mitt Romney was the first recipient of this sensible reform aimed at ensuring a stronger start for a new president. Unfortunately, it appears that Romney has now turned those taxpayer resources into yet another opportunity to make money.

Failed Presidential candidate and lord high priest of hair gel Willard "Lord Mittens" Romney was bemoaning his bad luck yesterday when he said,

"I wish the hurricane [Sandy] hadn't happened when it did because it gave the President a chance to be presidential and to be out showing sympathy for folks.... But you know, you don't look back and worry about each little thing and how could that have been different. You look forward."

Gosh darn it, what lousy extreme weather timing for Lord Mittens (oh yeah, and the victims, too)! Lord Mittens wanted to pretend to show "sympathy for folks" (the 47% no doubt), but that Negro fellow got in the way. What rotten luck!

But it's good that Lord Mittens is not worrying about "each little thing" (i.e., Hurricane Sandy and billions in damage). He's looking forward to bouncing from his beachfront mansion in La Jolla to his lakeside mansion in New Hampshire to his Boston mansion to...well, he'll be doing a lot of bouncing from here out with his gazillions from his vulture capital career, where he did some pretty good damage, too.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who recently had twin grandsons conceived through in vitro fertilization, has said it is okay for couples to "destroy' human embryos conceived through in vitro fertilization if they do not want to implant those human beings in a womb.
