If true, this would be amazing. Hard to believe with our military, we couldn't detect a helicopter crossing over the border into our own airspace. If it did happen, what an embarrassment.

Not having any background info, we can only speculate. But, we do know for decades the US Government has shown no interest in securing the borders and the current Administration will most certainly do nothing. Also, the issue of Mexican Military incursions (including shootings at US BP by alleged Mexican Army members) into the US on the ground looks to be real threat. The mainstream media largely ignores reports of incidents between the US Border Patrol and the Mexican Military. A sample story: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2006/jan/...
More of a real problem; you can also read about how Mexican corruption will migrate into the US if it hasn't already by influencing elected US officials under the guise of legitimate business dealings. Simple Google searches will enlighten all.

You don't need a Ma Duce to take out a chopper,
an M-16 will do just fine.

Arizona taxpayers owed $1 billion from illegal immigration

http://www.kvoa.com/news/arizona-taxpayers-ow...

"The cost of illegal immigration has exhausted the Arizona State Treasury. In order to pay for the federal government's responsibility of securing our national borders and incarcerating individuals who enter the United States illegally and commit crimes, the state has incurred hundreds of millions of dollars of debt to pay these bills," said Treasurer Dean Martin.

----------

The Arizona budget deficit is $1.5 billion. Arizona spends $1.3 billion a year providing benefits to illegals, educating them, and incarcerating them. And that's not counting the anchor babies.

This will be pocket change compared to states’ unfunded health care liabilities under the ‘deficit neutral’ plan currently being crafted in DC.

So according to the comments, a US miltary chopper that would stray into Mexico over the border could be shot down too? Just wondering.

How do we know it was a mexican hellicopter? Did it have a lot of loud base? Did it have spinners? Were there tassles hanging on the top of the windshield? Was the hellicopter overloaded with 13 individuals of the same family? Oh......I know how you can tell it was mexican....the helli was STOLEN !! Call the policia!
Well, not to put too fine a point on it.....but ALL helicopters have "spinners" ( helps hold them up in the air)

I think what gave them away was the virgin Mary picture in the back window.

I think it was the lack of insurance and expired tags

It was easy to identify the copter as Mexican because of the hair under the rotors.
