very sad.
i point out very good factual reasons for calling out these cults.
I am not out to defend my religion, It needs no defending! Fact: It was the first Entity to educate the poor and woman and brought that tradition to the United States. My religion has started hospitals, universities along with elementary and secondary education schools. Notre Dame, Boston College, George Mason, Georgetown, American University, Trinity College and the list goes on and on and on. Fact: At one time there were more Catholic High Schools in St Paul than there were public High Schools.
My religion has it faults, manmade issues it has to deal with, but we prefer to focus on the positives and the positive influence the Church has had on people’s lives in the area of Education, and Health Care and their spiritual life. My Religion has done more to assist and help the poor through Catholic Charities than almost all others.
There is no need for me to defend my Religion; it has served me and the people of the world in a very positive manner throughout history! I would say your position of negativity and hate is one that needs defending!

If your representatives let them write the laws they will. get involved and elect better reps.
who has more influence, the person who, for free, gets in at the grass roots level and picks which pols will be on the ballot, or the parson who writes a $10,000 check to the candidate the other person put on the ballot?
your whining about successful people is just that, whining.
your claim about lobbying shows you have no idea of how your own nation works. most would suggest the two are related.
The person who write the $1 Million check has the most influence. The person who controls the programming on ES&S boxes has the most influence. The person who owns the broadcast media has tremendous power. The person who gets in at the grass roots level has no chance of overcoming the stacked odds against him.

As to no ideas, you are really blowing in the wind on that one.

As to whining about successful people, those who successfully steal from others need to go to jail, not to the penthouse. Those who engage in criminal activities, who cause others to die, need to spend time in prison, not giving us their opinions on Fox News.

Since you imply that you "know" how government works, which republican presidents since Eisenhower committed treason to get into office (that we know of?) Or a shorter question, which ones didn't?

Indeed they have done things throughout history, but the question of where they good things or bad things on the whole. For example, when the Pope supported Hitler, was the damage more than the good from the schools? Were the schools good, with all the pedophilia going around? I do remember those from local Catholic schools were very violent. They were physically abused by the nuns and they learned that violence was the solution to disagreements.(1960s)

There are so many higher ups in the Catholic religion that keep pushing for republican policies and candidates that the religion should have its tax exempt status removed.

I believe that people make better progress when they think for themselves instead of giving their power to someone who will more than likely abuse it. Remember power corrupts.

Yes.... especially during the Inquisition. The Catholic church is responsible for most of the misery on this planet. Why do you think they are hemorrhaging members? People are waking up to their lies and blatant manipulations.

Well I guess it is good that you find humor in the fact that 5.7 Billion Humans on Earth would eliminate you Freaks of Nature......Just say thanks to those of us that accept you, and STFU.

(Do not expect us to "Embrace" you......and stop creating extra Constitutional Rights.

If you destroy the Constitution, there will no longer be people willing to live under the law, when the law does not exist.

On that day, you freaks will have almost no place on Earth to practice your debauchery and buggery.

OK, so when a rich guy shows up with 300 people, all being paid, and you show up, you get about 1/3 of 1% say. That is better than no say, but not much, since it won't change who gets picked as the candidate. Perhaps you like guy one, and they have market tested guy two; and give him all the right things to say. If you haven't market tested the speeches, you lose again.

You are speaking from the past when there was not so much money in the system.

I don't say successful people steal, I say criminals steal. I don't praise criminals, yet you call them successful. In one American tradition, you are considered successful by the amount you can give to others in need, not by accumulated wealth. When the Europeans came with their need to hoard wealth, it was considered dysfunctional. It still is dysfunctional. You have that dysfunction.

Your definition of who is successful is sick.

you have obviously never participated in politics at the grass roots level.

success is also measured by how your work and business gives to the community. by the number of jobs you create for people. yes, there are many metrics for success.

Woody, what falsehoods and clear proven lies are you referring to? You keep tossing out those terms like your some friggin authority on truth but never post what you are referring to. I know I am going to sorry I asked this, because it now gives you a platform to spew whatever nonsense you have stacked up waiting to unload but go ahead, see if you can convince me!
