No charges will be filed against a father who posted a photo of his son holding a .22 shotgun on facebook.
On the other hand, he is considering a law suit against the police who tried to raid his home at 8:30 PM, with weapons drawn and wearing bullet-proof vests. There is also a call to fire these out-of-control cops!
This dad needs to check the privacy setting on his facebook account!
It is not just his privacy settings. It could very well be that someone he has friended on FB has not set up their privacy settings very well. Be very careful what you post on FB.

“If you have a warrant, you’re coming in,” Nappen told the officers.“If you don’t, then you’re not. That’s what privacy is all about.”

With his attorney on speaker phone, Moore instructed the officers to leave his home.

“I was told I was being unreasonable and that I was acting suspicious because I wouldn’t open my safe,” Moore wrote on the Delaware Open Carry website.“They told me they were going to get a search warrant. I told them to go ahead.”

See what I mean? Always helpful when someone, through their own foolishness, makes your point for you.
The police in this case attempted to violate the homeowners 2nd, 4th, and 5th amendment rights by trying to intimidate him in to letting them come in to the home and inspect his weapons. Luckily he was smart enough to know they had nothing.
actually if you read the story. the police and cps were already inside. look for the section of where and what the man got for a text from his wife.

Don't try to confuse the Slewer Rat with facts. Unless the gun safe was outside, the CPS was threatening the family with removal of the children if they didn't open the safe and let them take the serial numbers off their guns. Those government sanctioned Nazis should be fired (upon.)

You just want to be an unpleasant troll. If you had bothered to educate yourself in the slightest bit, into this story, you would know that they were inside his home and demanded for him to open his gun safe to allow them to verify they were all legal guns and registered to him. Instead you take words and phrases out of context and pretend they fit your position.

"If they can just show up at any time and make you open safes and go through your house, that's not freedom; it's like tyranny."

They can't "make" him do it. They can "ask" him, which they did. But he had the right to refuse, which he did. They did nothing illegal. They did not go through his house either, and would not of without his consent.

I'm glad they take every child abuse tip seriously.

Slew is an ignoramus. His claims to fame inclued mythical dojos, an unlimited supply of dojo dollars, and being obtuse. Now that I think about it, ignoramus gives him far too much credit.

Oops, I misspelled "include". Watch the slewchebag salivate over that and call me stupid over spelling and syntax rather than content.
