why does Syracuse University have spare panels, but the Metrodome does not? Gee, it might have been a good idea to have a spare?

Push the dang thing in a hole and have it done, the local news tonight said the Vikings will be leaving for LA before the end of the year, be proud you tightasses of this state, you lost the best thing this state ever had.

This should be a memorable game. Let's forget about the dome and enjoy this game. IF a new building is built and it doesn't have a roof. This is as about as close as it gets to the experience we will have. I hope its a good, close game. Let's forget the politics of a new stadium for one week. Go Vikings!!!

The loss of revenue from last weekend's game being moved to Detroit at least gives us an idea of how much the Twin Cities and state will lose when the Vikings leave permanently after their lease expires and the legislature refuses to fund a new stadium. Get used to it.

What a dump that Metrodome is. Of course you get what you pay for when you build something on the cheap. Hopefully this will help get the ball rolling on building a new stadium for the Vikes.

This is gonna be awesome...football outside, in the snow and cold. Sounds fun to me, just bundle up, or drink!

Let's hope that this is the start of many more outdoor home games for the Vikes in Minnesota!

Huh, so they can share a stadium after all. Problem solved and a billion saved.

I think it would have been great had the Vikings and Gophers built a dual use facility. Why didn't anyone think of this?

Yep, it's been a long time since the Vikings played outdoors. This will bring back a lot of great memories. Bundle up folks, your stepping back to different era. Should be a fun one to watch.

This is a great oppurtunity to dismantle and demolish the dome....play at TCF Bank Stadium next year and build a new Vikings syadium on the dome sight. Here's a great opportunity for the new governor to show his leadership and get it done. After all he has said publicly that he favors a new facility for the Vikes.

December 20, 1981, was the last game for the Vikes at Old Met.

Soooooo.....29 years of candy-ass indoor ball?

This all is fate.
