If you Pinheads want cleaner air, get rid of your 100,000 Somalis. They stink.

"But now the problem is — everyone else. Homeowners. Commuters. Landscapers. Somalis. Small-business owners. School buses. Back-yard fires.

“That creates a whole different challenge,” said David Thornton, assistant commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA).

The loons are at it again.

A few years ago, they were looking at ways to prevent spillage (as in 1 drop sized spillage) at the gas pumps. Some nimrod with a calculator took an average of 3 drops spilled per car per fuel up and calculated that we could save the universe if we just put little rubber nozzle shields on all the gas pumps in the State of Minnesota.

By the way, the little enviro-geek's uncle sold little rubberized nozzle shields and they had a cousin that was a manager of some sorts at the MN EPA.

Now these dorks want to buy back lawn mowers? And prevent you from having back yard fires?

Screw them. It is going to be nice this weekend. Time to fire up the old Toro and then burn a nice big brush pile.

Smog? What smog? Of course, I live in the suburbs so maybe it's not so noticeable as in the downtown area. One of the best things Governor Turnbuckle ever did was to get rid of those useless emission testing stations. Phenomenal waste of taxpayer money.

Since we are looking forward to nice weather, I will likely be grilling/smoking a pork shoulder roast for the better part of Saturday or Sunday. End result is pulled pork. Charcoal, of course with pecan chips for the smoke. Can't have too much smoke.

I might just burn the x-mas tree too.
