A very unprofessional statement. How would you like your surgeon to make that statement in pre-op?

Ritchie is as crooked as they get. His outright theft of the Senate election should indicate which way this will go.

At least the buffoon Dayton will be ineffective, even if he isn't hiding under his desk.

With the vote being so close, a good honest recount will assure all voters that their votes count. I voted for Emmer but think it could be fun to watch the hapless Dayton as gov. The damage he can do will be limited by the Republican legislature.
If that twice-divorced, self-admitted failure alcoholic actually does take office he'll be relegated to ribbon cuttings and funerals. NOTHING he proposes will ever get passed.

might want to mix in a salad or two.

That being said, I hope Emmer wins the recount. I didn' vote for him, but let's let big mouth get in there and do everything he says will work. He'll have a GOP legislature to work with. If they botch it, we can vote them out. Go a head, cut everything, start with the DNR, whatever. It's all on them if it doesn't work. If their plan does work ... great, we'll all live in their low tax utopia.

Never so glad as to have voted independent. Be it Emmer or Dayton, as long as they're running the flakes of their parties, they'll miss 10% of the vote.

This is a lot of fun. I love how close these elections are in Minnesota.

Maybe not, but Republicans will once again in their bid to 'Floridate" Minnesota the way Bush and players did in 2008, lose the Governorship to Senator Mark Dayton, the correct choice for the job.
If you saw one of the guys at the news conference on TV, the big guy will roll all by himself.

Minnesota Republicans reaction to defeat is to claim the fix was in. They disregard the fact that Democrats won all the other state wide offices (AG, Sec of State & Auditor) and neglect the fact that Tom Horner drained away moderate Rpeublican votes. Had they selected a candidate less extreme than Emmer, they might have won. Now Dayton is left to deal with a Republican led legislature, just the opposite of the last eight years. Gridlock remains the norm.
Heh, you don't think the Democrats would claim the fix is in if the positions were reversed? How utterly naive.

No matter who gets in, I know that they both really care about me as a person.

Oh yes, and they'll fight for me too. The "secret" message in their campaigns was really to bring us all together. You know, like a friendly bullfight.

Selfless, benevolent humanists do that. Why else would they spend all that money to get elected?

Probably because 51% of this state (even reds) realize that he is an extremist and a liability. Thank jeebus Dayton won.
And 51% of this state realizes Dayton is an unstable, inexperienced goof. What's your point?

Sutton had best think before he talks. I did not vote for Emmer but I did vote mostly Republican for most other offices so if other people did the same that would show why Republicans won other offices but Emmer lost. This is not the first time he has made statements with out thinking.

I hope Emmer gets the recount, then when the GOP does what it really wants to do with no one to stop them, people will see what life is really like under their crazy ideas.

It's why I wanted Obama to lose, too. They should have been forced to clean up their own mess from the Bush administration, but lucky for the GOP the blame is all falling on the democrats.

We need more jobs. We need more Republicans. And, we badly need Emmer/Palin/Bachmann to help us.

I've been in a few operating rooms, and the doctors who have a relaxed attitude seem to be the most talented. The ones who rip everyone in the room and are miserable to work with are the ones who end up in trouble for incompetence. Just an observation.

I think the ad on Emmer's drunk driving convictions had to have some impact. Independent candidates like Horner, a former republican, take away votes from the other candidate they most resemble.

Sutton is an inflammatory radical. Not get rolled this time?

Sounds like he's willing to win at all costs and actually PLANS to steal the recount.

Couldn't be much clearer than that, he doesn't want the people deciding, he's going to hire a slick out of state lawyer to STEAL the election.

He's as much as said it.

I gave Horner some serious consideration but I had decided to hold my nose and vote for a guy with a chance to win.
