Romney Poll Numbers Expected to Plummet After Libya Gaffe

Early consensus from a variety of news sources, including conservative media outlets like Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, is that Romney's poll numbers are expected to take a major hit over his inept handling of the Libyan incident. Speculation is that this may be the final nail in the coffin for the 2012 election.

Romney is a complete boob. Sinking in the polls and desperate for an edge, he couldn't even wait for the facts to come in before he started shooting his mouth off in a Limbaugh/Hannity style playground attack.

There used to be a saying, "Politics stops at the water's edge." Apparently, this nitwit thinks he's running for talk show host and not for president.

A really bad move by Romney. The Sec. of State said this; "we must be clear-eyed, even in our grief". That's why she's a pro and Romney isn't. Romney did himself no favors in this obvious political posturing.

We already know he has no diplomatic credibility, and he doubled down on that today.

Another glaring example of Romney's inability to govern.

His numbers have been inaccurately "polled" for months. He's a moron with no experience, a tax evader, an famous outsourcer and pension fund stealer w foreign bank accounts upwards of a quarter billion dollars. How is gonna get even 40% of the vote in any state? He's the worst candidate ever according to many "reliable unnamed"washington sources.

Did you happen to catch the news last night? Obama has opened up SUBSTANTIAL leads in most of the battleground states.

I hate to break up your conversation with yourself, but how's that "plummet" working out for you, troll?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 45% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.

Rasmissing is the only national poll in the country showing Mitt with a lead.

I hate to break the news to you but Rasmussen has no creditability,
he's just trying to damage control from the fox news poll and the WSJ poll from 09/13/12.

A Fordham University analysis ranked 23 survey research organizations on the accuracy of their final, national pre-election polls. Rasmussen Reports and Pew Research Center tied as the most accurate.

"Pew poll puts Obama ahead by 10 points amid questions about its methodology

The Pew Research Center made waves Friday with a new poll showing President Obama leading by a double-digit percentage – but the polling outfit is coming under criticism for allegedly over-sampling Democrats and skewing the results toward the president."

So your Fordham University study is bogus. Fine. I'm trying to understand the truth, you're trying to promote your desires. Good luck. Mitt is losing ground. Period.

In fact, isn't "The Truth" one of your many aliases? So if you're trying to understand the truth, how could you be "The Truth", you lying liberal prick.

List: Which presidential polls were most accurate?

On average, the polls slightly overestimated Obama’s strength. The final polls showed the Democratic ahead by an average of 7.52 percentage points — 1.37 percentage points above his current 6.15-point popular vote lead. Seventeen of the 23 surveys overstated Obama’s final victory level, while four underestimated it. Only two — Rasmussen and Pew — were spot on.
