Hey it's too soon to tell. You try being president and fix everything. I don't think it's an easy job. It's not his fault that Bush left the nation in such a state.

Obama has proven that he is an arrogant jackass. Might as well forget about our two party system....he totally ignores, no, hates the republican party and he's NOT a "uniter".
Besides being a liar (transparency? yeah right) he has duped so many Americans. I'm stunned that so many have fallen for this tool. Vote him and his brainwashed (bribed) dummycrats out.

Obama is the worst thing that ever slithered into the Whitehouse. He is a socialist, communist, marxist, musslum. Our childrens childrens will suffer trying to pay off the monsterous debt he is incurring on our country. Vote this november to stop the Liberal democrats and take back our nation. Pray to God for victory!

Another T-bagger who didn't realize that we had a national debt until Obama took office. Or didn't care.

Google is a great tool. Type in Thomas Sowel and check out what this black economist has to say about the current administration and where he thinks this country is going. He is considered to be probably the greatest phylisophical thinker of our time.

By whom? Just curious, since I've not previously heard of him.

He has had articles in most of the major newspapers. When he was a young man he was a liberal. He has an extensive educational background and has done extensive studies and written on subjects as slavery, health care reform and how socialism destroys individual incentives to work therefore dragging down a countries economy. See what is happening in the socialized countries of Europe today.

What most idealists lose sight of is that every economy evolves. No idealized economy works forever. So yes, they are having some problems with socialism in Europe. They need to make some adjustments, find the next step that works.

In America we've seen that pure unregulated capitalism doesn't work either. We took steps; some things needed to be tightend up, some things kept lose. And to keep moving foreward we need to keep fixing problems.

I must assume that you have checked out thomas sowel and his writings. I believe your argument would be with him if you do not like what he says. I believe that you can find a place to respond to him if you take the time to find it. I understand how the going back and forth between 2 persons that dont have all the facts can start to make people look stupid, therefore that is why I suggest that a person contact original authers of articles as they are more likly to have the facts. I hope that if you decide to contact him he will respond and you will probably become more educated on these subjects than me.

I agree. It's unrealistic to think that any society can indefinitely succeed on autopilot.

Actually, I was just responding to the part where you said, "how socialism destroys individual incentives to work therefore dragging down a countries economy."

I would agree, socialism does have problems. But any economic system has problems. Unregulated capitalism also drags down a country's economy. My feeling is that both conservatives and liberals tend to miss the point. I think that the best economic programs come from pragmatists who are willing to put in place whatever policies are needed at the time.

Not a smart thing to post on the internet. Are you recommending violence toward the President? I sincerely hope not.

How un presidential to blame the former president. When a CEO is hired, it's his/her job to run and fix whatever problems exist. You don't hear CEO's blaming the previous CEO for what they've inherited. They were hired to do a job, period! They would be fired if they whined about the problems that were passed down.
How does Obama blame someone else for something he signed. This is his watch, his legacy. The worst is ahead of us. The damage that this man has done in one term is incomprehensible.
A free market economy works, socialism doesn't.
