Washington Post columnist George Will discussed the many scandals surrounding President Barack Obama's presidency, which he said are now causing a rebellion among Democrats.

He referred to Obama's attempt to place Larry Summers as the new head of the Federal Reserve being stopped by Democrats pushing back and said, "This has been a long time coming. There are five crisis in effect going all the way back to late last summer, and it does indicate that Democrats themselves are withdrawing their support from this president."

"I don't think I've seen worst relations between a White House and Congress since the late Carter years," he added.

I don't think there was one since there is no way to refute the evidence. The economy is still fundamentally, effed up. Those record numbers are not raw numbers, they are percentages. And they are higher than ever before. Hence the term "record numbers". As in, a higher percentage of the population is collecting welfare, or other forms of government assistance, than ever before.

Bergdahl swap is latest last straw for top Democrats frustrated with president's leadership.

The email hit my in-box at 9:41 p.m. last Wednesday. From one of the most powerful Democrats in Washington, a close adviser to the White House, the missive amounted to an electronic eye roll. "Even I have had enough."

Another Democrat had quit on President Obama.

The tipping point for this person was the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl case—not the soldier-for-Taliban swap itself as much as how the White House mishandled its obligation to communicate effectively and honestly to Congress and the public. More than that, Obama's team had failed once again to acknowledge its mistakes, preferring to cast blame and seek cover behind talking points.

President Obama IS a micro-manager who thinks he can do whatever he wants to. He forgets Congress and after the fact justifies his action with some lame excuses. He IS an acting Dictator, over and over he ignores Congress and does what he chooses. Are his actions impeachable? Who makes that call? Congress, if they did that would he simply ignore Congress again? IF he ignores Congress and violates the law who removes him from power? The military has the might but President Obama controls the military and could simply direct them to ignore Congress again. It will be interesting to observe how President Obama acts from now until he is supposed to leave office in 2016.

The Times They Are A Changin'

- Obama’s 44 percent favorability rating is down from his previous low of 46 percent

- His job-approval rating fell to 43 percent -- near the level at the end of 2013 after the botched rollout of the Affordable Care Act.

- 58 percent of Americans disapprove of Obama’s handling of health care, 4 percentage points higher than in March, even as the law exceeded its original signup targets.

- 58 percent say the U.S. is in decline as a world leader

- 46 percent said some foreign leaders are challenging the U.S. because they perceive Obama as weak

- 57 percent disapprove of his management of the economy, with just 38 percent approving.

This is America, where some people think it's a really bad idea to negotiate with terrorists. Bergdahl knew the risks when he joined up. That includes being captured, tortured or even killed. Releasing those 5 terrorists will come back to bite us. One way or another. Allowing Al Queda to dictate terms to us was just about the worst thing Obama could have done.

Maybe you should look around a little. A large portion of those "jobs" were temporary or short term contract positions. Businesses are not hiring near as many fulltime employees. And may are releasing employees to avoid the cost of the ACA fines and taxes. Stop getting all of your info from huffington and alternet. Branch out a little.
