Today's Obama moment:

Since taking office in 2009, President Barack Obama has formally proposed a total of 442 tax increases, according to an Americans for Tax Reform analysis of Obama administration budgets for fiscal years 2010 through 2015.

The 442 total proposed tax increases does not include the 20 tax increases Obama signed into law as part of Obamacare.

“History tells us what Obama was able to do. This list reminds us of what Obama wanted to do,” said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

The number of proposed tax increases per year is as follows:

-79 tax increases for FY 2010

-52 tax increases for FY 2011

-47 tax increases for FY 2012

-34 tax increases for FY 2013

-137 tax increases for FY 2014

-93 tax increases for FY 2015

Reagan made the same mistake. Granting amnesty to illegal aliens without closing the border sieve. And again, Obama mirrors Bush and now Reagan.(cheap, disposable labor and potential voters) Now were are up around 20 million. Which is one of the reasons no one can agree on an amnesty bill. As well they shouldn't. Just another shining example of how Omaba can not manage the government and is dishonest as all getout.

I'm sorry. How long has BHO been in office? How much time has he had to deal with the border problems and Mexicos contribution to our immigration problems? How lnog has he had to close Guantanamo and get out of Afghanistan? That's the beauty and the curse of becoming president. Americas problems become your problems. ANd he can't manage these issues or be trusted to tell the truth about the state of the union. Which makes him just another politician.

Obama's policies have left this country in a sorry state:

Bureau of Labor and Statistics

In 20% of American Families, NOBODY Works!

A family, as defined by the BLS, is a group of two or more people who live together and who are related by birth, adoption or marriage. In 2013, there were 80,445,000 families in the United States and in 16,127,000—or 20 percent--no one had a job.

On a side note, 20% of American Families will be voting for "Free Stuff" again this election cycle.

Obama approval weak as Democrats face midterm challenge:

Democrats face serious obstacles as they look to the November elections, with President Obama’s approval rating at a new low and a majority of voters saying they prefer a Congress in Republican hands to check the president’s agenda, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

Obama’s approval rating fell to 41 percent, down from 46 percent through the first three months of the year and the lowest of his presidency in Post-ABC News polls. Just 42 percent approve of his handling of the economy, 37 percent approve of how he is handling the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and 34 percent approve of his handling of the situation involving Ukraine and Russia.

73% of College students believe America is losing respect in the world under the leadership of President Barack Obama.

A Panetta Institute survey found that "73 percent of college students believe that the United States is less respected by other countries than it was in the past."

Obama campaigned on a promise to increase America's respect around the world, but has been slammed for the death of four Americans in Benghazi and the subsequent attempts at a cover-up, his "red line" in Syria, "dithering" in the Middle East, and his "reset" policy with Russia that only allowed Putin's Russia to increase its sphere of influence in Eastern Europe.

Didn't the left declare war on the 1%ers? Oh, wait, I guess it was the middle class...

Median CEO pay crosses $10 million in 2013.

Propelled by a soaring stock market, the median pay package for a CEO rose above eight figures for the first time last year. The head of a typical large public company earned a record $10.5 million, an increase of 8.8 percent from $9.6 million in 2012, according to an Associated Press/Equilar pay study.

Last year was the fourth straight that CEO compensation rose following a decline during the Great Recession. The median CEO pay package climbed more than 50 percent over that stretch. A chief executive now makes about 257 times the average worker's salary, up sharply from 181 times in 2009.
