Some of you feel the same way, was their a point, putz ???
The point, putz, is that a no vote on something like this does not mean the voters are evil for not supporting it. Maybe the bill was incomplete, maybe there was more we could have done, maybe there were too many earmarks attached to it, maybe they didn't want to support half measures. Maybe we can't afford it. Maybe there was a better solution.

My point, which you failed to grasp again, was that democrats who voted against the Civil Rights Act did so for various reasons, and not only because they were racist or evil. They each had a reason for not supporting it.

This low brow demagogy is what poisons our civil discourse and weakens our union. Grow up.

Many continue to blame 87 or 89 Congressman in the House for "obstruction" Yet the leadership of the Senate has not taken up one single budget proposal to the floor of the Senate for a vote in over 4 years. Why?? Because then the White House and the Democrats would actually have to tell the American People where they are spending the trillions of dollars they are taking from us. Call Harry Reid and ask him why he and his Democratic friends are withholding information from the American people. Why no budget bill?? The "obstructionist" are called Senate Democrats. Reid, Schummer et al.

A budget? Haven't seen one of those lately. Reid doesn't have the testicular fortitude to bring a budget to the floor, maybe we should petition the White House to ask the Senate why they haven't brought a budget to the floor in over 4 years? Can Obama vote "present" on that?

At least the damage in Duluth was NOT to flood plain property.

If Government allows rebuilding/repair of the stuff out east then the property owners should be forced to sign off on NO support from Government next year when the next storm of the lifetime occurs.

IMHO, Chris Christy is the biggest PORKER of them all.

RINO applies and he's screaming for the PORK laden Sandy bill to be passed.

He's up front about it saying he's fighting for the guys back home...

Make them build where the next storm of a lifetime won't damage the structures. AND they can buy their own damn insurance.

It's time for people to take responsibility for their actions!
