Of course you can't, you're a typical dime a dozen urban liberal that is responsible for the inner city cesspool and our massive debt.

The crazies have taken over the GOP, and now they have no chance of winning the 2012 Presidential election. A moderate like McCain worked real well the last election. Wouldn't cha say?

Melinda do you dislike Rep. Bachmann? It's one thing to attack her based on her political leanings/party but do you have to attack her family with vile comments? I actually, praise foster families for their hard work raising foster kids, whether the family is DFL/GOP or Independent.

So I will go out on a limb here and say that you are "butt ugly", possibly a dyke, could never land a real man because of your liberal hatred of good looking, strong, professional, independent, conservative women. The best you can do in life is a jar of peanut butter, and you german shepard.

In actaulity you would need to decrease the amount of the surplus that W was given, and add that to the defecit that he created. If you want to be open minded about the subject. That would actually show that W was just as reckless as Obama.

yea Reagans 18 million new jobs and Bush's five % average unemployment for eight yrs was brutal.
Wink, wink.
Bush was out at the perfect time. You know! That big financial crisis thing... Left that one to Obama. He actually destroyed a good job market with laxed regulations in the financial industry and the poor fiscal management of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. My favorite quote by W during the financial crisis, "How could this happen?" It is called relaxed regulations bozo, and a greedy upper class. All the while being told that the industry needed to be regulated. It was un-American to do that though. I guess the American thing to do is to crash an industry, and damn near an economy for the upper class.

no it wasn't...the S & P is a rating agency, it was not "down". The US debt was downgraded by the S & P rating agency.

The Original Poster implied that the S & P (500) stock index was "down"...when in fact it is up. A downgrade of US debt surprisingly will be good for equities, bad for Bonds. Buy high, sell low....but you should stay out of the markets.

Well now lets be fair...the financial meltdown was due to a number of things, but the Clinton administrations pressure on lenders, and turning the FHA into a loan to anyone program was largely responsible.

Obama is in four countries with wars now, tripled deficits compared to GWB, credit S&P sinking, five bucks a gallon gas in DC, record foreclosures still, not to mention 99 weeks of unemployment benefits.

Sure glad hope n changed fixed it all.

I agree to a point. It was also the financial instituitions risky endeavors that really caused the meltdown. Being overly exposed in regards to debt, and to not have a grasp on the amount of risk associated with their toxic assets. This is largely the reason that the economy and the financial industry took a big crap on the US. This was done by some GOP senators that reduced regulation in financial services industry. In reality, we can go back quit a few terms in presidency to point fingers.

The lefties will tell us all that Michele Bachmann is irrelevant on the political scene, a lightweight, out of touch, etc....

Yet watch them all come running whenever her name appears in print. She sure does draw attention for someone that is supposedly irrelevant. Similar to the reaction that Sarah Palin gets.

Great theater. Thanks lefties.

Four contries now? Did we just invade someone else? Last time I checked the US is really not involved with Libya anymore.
Tripeled deficits: You mean after W lost the surplus that created a deficit for Obama to walk into. To be fair in regards to this, we must consider what surplus W lost and the deficit that he created. Just as reckless as Obama once you consider that.$1 trillion dollars in bailout money for Wall Street was a big hit.
S&P downgrade: Read the above. I am sure the financed wars are starting to take their toll.
$5 for gas in DC: Move! Nobody forced you to live their. My GOP mentatlity.
99 weeks of unemployment: Getting 50% of your income is awesome. Totally understand how you feel that way considering W's tax incentive for the rich, and that the job market has been booming for four years. Or has it been incrediably negative, and flat at best in regards to growth? Lets take away those benefits so more people can go through forclosure, and add further strain to the financial industry.
Record forclosures: Nothing to do with the GOP deregulating the financial industry at all? Idea: Pick up a book and read about the financial crisis. "Too Big To Fail" is a good one.
It seems that you have it all figured out man. I am not sure why you dont run for office. You have as much insight as Bachmann or Palin. I am being serious....
