A post-primary poll check: MPR’s Tom Scheck says, “Rasmussen Reports has two polls out this week that show DFL Gov. Mark Dayton and DFL Sen. Al Franken leading their Republican rivals. The poll, which surveyed 750 likely voters in Minnesota on August 13 and 14, found that Franken leads Republican nominee Mike McFadden by 8 percentage points. … The poll also found that Dayton is leading Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson by 8 points. Dayton had 49 percent support while Johnson had 41 percent.”

Nobody said it was going to be easy unseating the incumbents. That is typically the case, especially in a state where the largest employeer is the government.

Lets see a list/documentation of all Politicians, both Parties, who have stock and are shareholders in the Pharmaceutical Companies. Then you will know why they continue to let them charge so much for prescriptions.
It's time we get a Politician who will lobby for a bill to make the Pharmaceutical Companies "take back" prescriptions that cannot be used due to side affects. They should go back to the pharmacy and the pharmacy should send them back to the Pharmaceutical company for reimbursement for the unused portion for both the insurance company and the customer/patient who paid the copay. Of course in fairness the Pharmaceutical and Pharmacy can deduct for the amount used, which probably won't be much because when you have a reaction it is usually right away. Some pharmacies have envelopes you pay for to send the prescription drugs to an agency who destroys them. Ridiculous that the patient has to pay for the drug they can't take and now has to pay to send it someplace. Then there is the drop off sites in the law enforcement agencies which is another cost to the taxpayer. The simplest and fairest way is to pas a bill to reimburse the persons who paid for the prescription in the first place.

More proof that the citizens of Minnesota are the dumbest people on the planet. Governor Mumbles? Who would ever vote for a guy you can't understand?

Jeff Johnson killed in the debate with Dayton yesterday! But, liberals are too stooopid to watch or understand the facts. All they care about is all day kindergarten (or taxpayer funded babysitting) and Dayton saying Minnesota has the lowest health insurance rates in the country (also taxpayer subsidized!)

The average Minnesotan graduates from college with $31,000 in school loans. Al wants to allow them to renegotiate their loans. This sounds pretty good, but how about working on why the cost of education is so high in the first place?

The same people complaining about a 4% student loan to get a degree in navel gazing will gladly charge $10,000 of crap on their credit card at about 18%. And 60% of the student loans never get paid!
