Miniguns
There’s nothing “mini” about this gun, which can fire 2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute or 166 bullets per second. The only reason these bad boys are legal is if the weapon was manufactured and registered before May 19th, 1986, when the machine gun ban went into effect. Miniguns are pretty rare, but when they do go up for sale, they cost around $400,000.

the cost is not only by size. but several other factors as well.
.
you can get a small single hand one for about $30. husband and I each have at least one.
.
this link there is one even for $20. http://www.budk.com/category/Outdoors-Surviva... ? Crossbows were invented out of necessity for military purposes. While it took years of diligent practice to become a great marksman with a longbow, it only took a week or so to become accurate with a crossbow.
.
some of these can even punch a decent hole thru a metal door.
