A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

What part of "shall not be infringed" do these idiots not understand?

So, you got a quote correct...GOOD for you.

"the right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose"

Pretty amusing, in the REAL WORLD TODAY, we consider THAT a run on sentence..... Guess, reality has changed, from muskets.

Most of the "die hard" ones don't understand any of it.
Reading comprehension was probably sacrificed for under water basket weaving in the public schools they attended.

Too bad, American children aren't in Benghazi, so the right could care......

But it was only "accidental," so I guess that's okay then:

An accidental shooting sent a Trigg County toddler to Vanderbilt Medical Center overnight.
Kentucky State Police were called to a residence in Trigg County just after 9 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a 2-year-old suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

The child was initially taken to Trigg County Hospital, then transferred to Vanderbilt with non-life threatening injuries.

That makes three 2-year-olds and a 3-year-old shot in the head, just over the past two weeks. Rather than repeat myself, I'll throw you a link to my recent rant on America's epidemic of toddler gun violence ..

I have yet to hear from those on the left, any reasonable or for that matter unreasonable (seeing that is their mantra) as to why Chicago, DC and NYC, have more gun & violent crimes than most other cities, yet have the tightest gun control laws in the land?

Watch the deflect/divert/change the thread direction this brings!!

But the neighboring states to Illinois, California, Massachusetts, New York, Washington DC, with more lax gun laws, don't have the same levels of crime..........might have more to do with the locations than the strict gun laws? One might even make the argument that strict gun laws do nothing except enable criminals to get away with more in areas with strict gun laws.

Almost 24 hours later, still no response! Maybe those gun laws are simply stupid and if people didn't know who did or didn't have a gun, people might thing twice about commiting a crime with a gun.
I am sure this will generate another worthless round of banter!!:-)
