Jon Stewart's coverage of the conventions wouldn't have been complete without some ribbing of Fox News.

On Friday night, Stewart took aim at "certain discrepancies" between the network's take on the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention. He said that Fox News slammed the Democrats in Charlotte over exactly what they praised the Republicans for in Tampa.

Exhibit A was clips of Fox News hosts dismissing calls for Mitt Romney to talk about abortion. "I wonder how they feel about the social issues in party platforms this week," Stewart said, before playing clips of Fox News hosts blasting the Democratic platform's previous omission of "God."

"Fox is truly doing God's work... well God's busy work," Stewart observed Friday. "The kind of work he doesn't need done because he's God."

He also compared Gretchen Carlson's criticism of celebrities at DNC and her rave review of Clint Eastwood's RNC speech on "Fox and Friends" with Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. She said that celebrities at the DNC took attention away from policy issues, one week after she said that she "loved Clint Eastwood from beginning to end."

"Spoken like a woman who spends every morning sitting next to two empty chairs," Stewart said.

Those weren't the only differences he noticed. After Chris Wallace said that he was going to "just shut up and watch" Romney accept his party's nomination, Stewart suggested the phrase for Fox News' new slogan. Watch the entire "Last Week, This Week" segment in the clip above.

Fox continues to dominate the ratings and liberals whine for more censorship.

"The July 2012 ratings are in. Although cable news ratings can lag during summer months, the tragic mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado, 2012 presidential race, and the lure of the London Olympics seemed to keep viewers tuned in. Overall, ratings trends were maintained.

Fox News dominated the top thirteen spots in July and secured 13 out of the top 15 programs in the coveted 25-54 age demographic. MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell, whose 10:00 p.m. show "Last Word" beat "The Rachel Maddow Show," ranking as the network's highest rated program in July, broke Fox News' winning streak. "Last Word" increased by 11% in total viewers compared to July 2011. MSNBC held its place as the second highest rated cable news network, firmly situated behind Fox News and ahead of CNN.

The news was not as good for CNN, as the network was down 20 percent in total viewers from this time last year. Anderson Cooper's 8:00 p.m. show "AC360" was the only program to increase in viewers from July 2011. While the network posted lower viewership compared to this time last year, CNN's ratings were higher than last month in both total viewers and the key demographic."

Fox news always seems to be mentioned, if they are so small ( as liberals claim ) then why all the input. the truth is that FAX tells it like it is and liberals hate that.
