The alleged Boston Marathon bomber who hid from authorities for more than 20 hours was captured tonight by police, sending cheers up through the Watertown neighborhood where he was found.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was discovered by a homeowner lying in a boat in the man's backyard around 7 p.m. The man noticed blood on the boat, spotted a body inside the boat and called 911, according to Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.

According to police, a helicopter with infrared technology then located Tsarnaev in the boat and noted that he was moving about within it. The helicopter directed officers on the ground to the boat, where they briefly exchanged gunfire shortly before 7 p.m.

Police halted their gunfire and sent hostage negotiators to try and talk Tsarnaev out of the boat Davis said.

But the suspect was not responsive, and after about an hour and 45 minutes, officers went to the boat and took Tsarnaev into custody.

His arrest sparked a spontaneous celebration in Watertown with people high fiving police, chanting Boston strong and USA.

"Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was discovered by a homeowner"

3,000 union cops. 30 block area. The cops called a press conference to say the trail had gone dead and they could not find the kid. MASSIVE UNION FAILURE. Then one home owner saved the cops and told them where the kid was hiding. Give the medal to the home owner rather than the cops.

On the Watertown Ma Topix site there is indications the homeowner will be getting some $$ for a new boat being that the "authorities" will be processing and impounding his boat as evidence for years as the trial will go on forever.

Wouldn't it be great if the BRAVE HOMEOWNER who found the terrorist for the COPs would get a bunch of $$$ for the fruits of his labor?

Heck there was 3,000 COPs there pulling down the BIG BUCKS and unable to find the mooslim terrorist, in a boat, maybe they were on a Union rule break?

The courts have ruled that cops don't have a duty to protect citizens. It is their job to investigate.

Given the courts saying that, why would anyone depend on the cops for their personal and their family's safety?

He was "outside the Lockdown zone" which is why he wasn't discovered by the police. A citizen informed the police, who then subsequently made an arrest. The thing that was particularly interesting to me, over 3000 total peace officers. Not sure they were all "union" cops, as I saw DEA, and FBI on the tube.
I want to thank the Bush Administration for taking steps back in 2001 to develop the coordination and communication levels necessary to make such a coordinated effort possible. Thanks GW

WHEN YOU SAY THE WORD "sociopath" most people think of serial killers. But although many serial killers are sociopaths, there are far more sociopaths leading ordinary lives.

*Chances are you know a sociopath. I say "ordinary lives," but what they do is far from ordinary. Sociopaths are people without a conscience. They don't have the normal empathy the rest of us take for granted. They don't feel affection. They don't care about others. But most of them are good observers, and they have learned how to mimic feelings of affection and empathy remarkably well.

Most Sociopaths "Project" as a common Defense mechanism.

Most people with a conscience find it very difficult to even imagine what it would be like to be without one. Combine this with a sociopath's efforts to blend in, and the result is that most sociopaths go undetected.

Because they go undetected, they wreak havoc on their family, on people they work with, and on anyone who tries to be their friend. A sociopath deceives, takes what he (or she) wants, and hurts people without any remorse. Sociopaths don't feel guilty. They don't feel sorry for what they've done. They go through life taking what they want and giving nothing back. They manipulate and deceive and convincingly lie without the slightest second thought. They leave a path of confusion and upset in their wake.

Who are these people? Why are they the way they are? Apparently it has little to do with upbringing. Many studies have been done trying to find out what kind of childhood leads to sociopathy. So far, nothing looks likely. They could be from any kind of family. It is partly genetic, and partly mystery.

*For example, Say a Poster on a Message Board Consistently calls other Posters "Drunks", it is clear that the Sociopath is "Projecting He/She/It's Alcoholism.

Meanwhile the real Hero, the unarmed homeowner, shagged the bomber out of his boat. he COPs blew over 100 holes in the Heros boat.

The COPs earned medals and the Hero homeowner needs a new boat.
