A waste of time and money if you ask me, glad to see Ryback not waste it, but I'm sure it'll be wasted elsewhere

the cost would be steep. The NYT said that the last two U.S. bid cities, New York in 2012 and Chicago in 2016, each spent more than $10 million and were eliminated early in the voting by the International Olympic Committee.
Some of the requirements in the letter include:
45,000 hotel rooms available for the games
An operating budget of more than $3 billion
Construction of an Olympic Village to house 16,500 athletes
Construction of an operations space for 15,000 news media members
An extensive transportation network
A work force of 200,000

Phoenix; San Jose, Calif.; Los Angeles; Sacramento; San Diego; San Francisco; Denver; Washington; Orlando, Fla.; Miami; Atlanta; Chicago; Indianapolis; Baltimore; Detroit; Minneapolis; St. Louis; Las Vegas; New York; Boston; Rochester; Charlotte, N.C.; Columbus, Ohio; Tulsa, Okla.; Portland, Ore.; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Memphis, Tenn.; Nashville and Davidson County, Tenn.; Austin, Texas; Dallas; Houston; San Antonio; Jacksonville; and Seattle.

Minneapolis should be setting it's sights on the Special Olympics. There's a lot of "special" people there.
