Weber was so inconsistent for the Gophers -- makes an incredible throw one play ... underthrows an open receiver by 10 yards the next ... true, Coach Brewster was an idiot and had him confused most of the time ... but I do wish him luck!

I see Adam Webber doing a few season in the UFL. Then we'll see.

Best of luck to AW. He is a great athlete with the work ethic and smarts to play at the next level. He will be on an NFL roster next year.

Just not a QB...not even in college. H-back maybe. Do they actually pay Shooter to write this?

why in the world would the Viking take Adam Weber? He wasn't even an adequate QB for the Gophers, why would anyone think this guy could do anything in the NFL?...and what is Shooter's facsination with him anyway? He has been writing about this no talent QB for months now. He wasn't even an average college QB so what gives...yea, maybe he'll get drafted by someone but he will never make an NFL roster, it is sust becuase he is from MN that this guy even gets any press at all.
Hey Shooter, just let it go..........

I don't think Weber played defense, did he? Weber has the third highest TD to INT ratio in Gophers history. He's also the 3rd most accurate QB in Gophers history. But what you or I think isn't important. I think the NFL scouts know a little bit more about talent than people on a message board. If they are expressing interest maybe Weber is more talented that people gave him credit for. If you want to lay all the Gophers problems on Weber's shoulders, then you're saying that Brewster's coaching had nothing to do with the Gophers' problems.

I certainly would have no problem with the Vikings finding another QB late in the draft or FA. They are so hard to find.
