Wow, 35,000 jobs at the USPS! That should make a dent in the unemployment status!! BFD!
Good thing for an organization that lost billions of dollars last more to hire more people. What a great plan to become solvent. Following the Obama model of spending our way to solvency now.

Did ya see the case where the USPS delivered a letter from 1765 AD.

It was found in equipment.

USPS should be privatized. A shining example of the inefficiency of a government run entity. No accountability? No problem!

Agreed, everything the Government does should be evaluated and privatized unless it's a bonified Government function, definition please.

In the case of the USPS we already have FedEX, UPS, Speedee etc delivering stuff. Why can't mail be delivered by a private company as well, for a profit.

I see NO NEED for daily delivery of mail, Mon Wed Fri and Tues Thurs Sat would work for 100% of customers. That change would result in a 50% cut in delivery staff.

Government is a pathetic deliverer of product/service.

Hope the PO does a criminal check on their new hires.
Bunch of thieves with the current batch. Some PO employee ripped open a package sent to me that had coins in them. Must of thought they were valuable. Laughs on them. They were some old Shell gasoline 1968 US Presidents tokens made of aluminum worth about 10 bucks. I am going to reduce as much as possible sending anything of any value with the Thieves Postal Service from now on.
