The MnDOH has a HVAC failure that cost taxpayers over a MILLION dollars.
You can buy a freeze alert device at FF for $130 that would alert maintenance staff of a heat plant failue BEFORE temps reach 32 (freezing).
Who does facilities maintenance for the state?
Whoever does needs to be fired!!!

Actually a freeze alarm is $90 at Fleet Farm.
How many Government buildings have such a thing in use?
The facilities guy at MnDH should be fired!!!
The building will need to be gutted and refurnished. Many expensive machines were damaged.
The total bill WILL EXCEED $5,000,000.
Thanks taxpayers, says the blundering Government employee responsible for the loss.

Now wait just one moment.
Minnesota has a $1,000,000,000 surplus. It's got to be wasted on something.
We will just call them shovel ready jobs, repairing the DOH.

This is no different than any building.
They are flooded all the time.
